I have the wifi info and key details in Guest Information that is only available to guests who have paid. It is very clear but Nathan isn't the first to say it is missing. I just checked now and it is all there. I think people aren't noticing the info provided. I have a separate info sheet that I give to all stays in other websites that I advertise on and will do the same here so people will get the detail twice. I dont want anyone arriving without such important details.
The windows are double glazed. I dont know if you noticed, Nathan but the sliding door and all the windows apart from the other lounge door are double glazed making a warm lounge area. We live upstairs and the downstairs flat is far warmer and I think it has to be because of those double glazed windows. Also the bedroom has a double glazed window which means heat just doesnt escape.
We have a Heat Pump in the lounge. There is a remote on the wall and Nathan is the only person who I have had to instruct as to how to use it. These must not be common in his country. For anyone else wondering how to use it, this is what I explained to Nathan. There is a white unit on the wall. Take the remote and find the on button, adjust the temperature but make sure to point the remote to the unit (Heat Pump) on the wall. After I explained this, all was fine.
As mentioned in the website you can drive to the City Centre within 6 minutes or you can take a bus. It is lovely being in this suburb as we have afternoon sun that streams into the lounge and lovely bush views. Also it is quiet, another distinct advantage of a suburban residential area.
About the draft. I noticed when I was cleaning that the windows were slightly open. This wouldn't help when trying to heat the room. It might be an idea for guests to check to see if they are slightly open before heating as the room will feel drafty on a windy day if the windows are not closed. We need to ventilate well in Wellington it can be a moist environment. We often open windows even just slightly during the day to change the air. I dont think Nathan realised they were slightly open.
I am glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the constructive feedback
