A beautiful family house in a charming and quiet Subiaco street on approx. 600m2 of land with North facing garden. Daglish train station around the corner, 10' walk from cafes, bars, bakeries, shops etc. Can accomodate up to 7 persons.

This homely children friendly gracious house is located just minutes away from the city, Kings Park and Subiaco's delightful cafes, shopping and dining experiences.
This large house is set up is as follows:
Master bedroom with ensuite: queen size bed for two
Bed 1: single bed with ensuite
Beds 2 & 3: single beds with a trundle bed underneath - 2 x singles per room.
Study: access to computer table area with basic stationary and folded sofa for extra guest.
Total: 8 guests
The dining table seats 8 people
The outdoor dining area can also seat 8 people
The outdoor lounge area can seat 10 people
There is an outdoor BBQ
There is a heated pool . Not in winter months.

No pets, no parties, no smoking and respect the heritage values of this century-old house.

We also expect you to be mindful of our electricity bills (!!!) and therefore have a reasonable use of air conditioning in summer and of heating in winter! It is a centralised reverse cycle system, not that energy friendly that we use with moderation (set timer in mornings in winter only).

A FEW IMPORTANT HOUSEHOLD THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW …

CLEANING:
Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition with all dishes washed and returned to their correct places. An extra cleaning charge will be requested if the property is left in an overly dirty or untidy state, or if ovens, cook tops and bbqs are left in a dirty and grimy state, or linen or towels are badly stained (fake tan, makeup and hair dye being the worst culprits). We will endeavour to provide photographic evidence in such cases.

ELECTRICITY ( Heating in winter or air-conditionning in summer).
We are a family of five and we use an average of 38 electricity units per day (i.e. less than 9$/day). We are a mindful family trying to save on our bills and on the life span of our planet. We use little air conditioning and favour natural air draft. In winter we don't heat at night, we use extra blankets... We give you double credit in consumption as it can get really warm or cold during the summer and winter and you are on holidays! But beyond this consumption, we expect to charge the additional used units. We will take a photo of the electricity meter upon arrival and on departure date. For your information, the Perth Synergy rate is : 26$/unit

NOISE:
Sorry but we have a strict no party policy. Large or noisy gatherings will not be tolerated in our peaceful residential neighbourhood.

RUBBISH:
Please place all household rubbish in bin bags (kept in the kitchen) and place in the large council bins located in the side alley. Recycling policy is explained in a folder left for information on the kitchen bench upon arrival.
Try to recycle where possible.

Our stay in Monia s home was just perfect. It was exactly as depicted in the photos. The outdoor areas and pool were just great for us and everything was so clean and tidy. Monia was so amenable when making arrangements for collection and return of the keys. She kept in touch with us in case there were any problems but there were no issues. The location is very convenient for shopping, beaches, or eating out. We were really happy with our stay at Monias and would certainly recommend the stay there.

A beautiful, lovely and comfortable home perfect for families. Nice and clean with all the necessities. Spacious with many rooms and comfortable beds. Especially loved the fireplace that kept us all warm during the winter nights. Excellent area, close to a lot of eateries and shopping places.

We are a family of 5. Our children are 9, 10 and 13 years old. Our house is a safe haven and everyone who comes here tell us how warm and welcoming the house is. We love our house.
We also love our neighbourhood. Subiaco is a wonderful small village with a strong community feel. "Village" even if immediately adjacent the Perth CBD. It is a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Cockatoos, magpies and honey suckle birds are equally residents to this area. Trees are everywhere and they stay green all year round.
We have decided to rent the house during the weeks when we are in France to visit family. We like the idea that someone is taking care of our house. It also allows us to go abroad to visit our family.
Our kids go to the Subiaco Primary School and Shenton College (local public schools), I am a university teacher and my husband is an engineer.
