I stayed in this apartment with a couple of my friends for the summer while interning in D.C. and from everyone I talked to, we received the best deal. We paid the lowest price, had our own washer and dryer, and all while being within walking distance to Capitol Hill and many vibrant bars and restaurants. D.C. is gentrifying quickly and while this area has all of the nice amenities that gentrification brings, it also is home to many local people who love this city and aren't just here on vacation.
The bar and live music scene nearby is amazing. The Rock and Roll hotel has many great live shows. There is a sophisticated wine bar close by. A coffee and clothing shop called "Maketto" is one of the highest ranked establishments in the city.
Jake is one of the most accommodating people I've ever met. He responds quickly and accurately and is very forthcoming with any information. Jake is extremely friendly and conversational, but also knows how to give his guests their space. I have zero complaints about my stay and would love to stay there again.
The apartment is just as advertised and the kitchen is really nice. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very nice as well. I unequivocally recommend this property for your next Washington D.C. excursion.
