The house is built in 1880, renovated inside. There is no central heating in the room the guest stayed, but the heater is provided. During unprecedented freezing cold temperature in NY this winter the pipes froze and water supply could not be restored immediately, or even the next day upon the guest's request. The guest was scheduled to move out the next day as per her booking, but had to move out 1 day earlier, with provided refund.
Incorrect: The guest was offered and had access to the whole house, minus other people's rooms, not just her and the study room. While I was away during this guest's stay, there was a person to address the guest's issues.
Statement "the host for most of the time does not stay in the house" refers to this guest's particular 2 weeks stay. This guest by no means can make such statement, and this is a libel (i.e. a written defamation of character).
