'Monte Entre Os Moinhos' is a modern three storey vivenda located just to the north of the spine of the 'Hill Between The Mills'.
From the rear of the property, the serra (mountain range) to the north forms an incredible backdrop to the garden and terraces.
The first floor even has glimpses of the sea and the capital city of Faro to the south.
Only a handful of dwellings occupy the hill, so the access road is little-used, giving a real sense of isolation and allowing the sounds of nature to emanate freely.
The remotely operated electric gateway slides gently away granting access to the property and the driveway that curves around the side of the building and down to the ample garage space underneath.
Through the interior door at the back of the garage one finds the staircase up to the rest of the house, and immediately to the right is 'the den' which features comfy seating and beanbags in front of a large flat screen TV and various exercise equipment (including a multigym) towards the patio doors, next to which is a double bedroom and separate bathroom/shower.
Up the stairs to the ground floor and through a sliding door is the main sitting room with views to the north and west, and patio doors to the terrace. This room has the source of the WiFi and another flat screen TV with the same vast selection of cable TV and international radio channels from which to choose.
The adjacent dining area seats eight and has an overhead light that can play your favourite music via 'bluetooth' while you eat!
The adjoining kitchen is bright and fully equipped, with views to the west from the sink(!) and once again to the mountains from the back door. Additional outside access to the terrace is via a patio door.
A 7kg capacity washing machine is located in a small utility off the kitchen, with a window that opens conveniently straight out to the washing lines.
A double bedroom and bathroom with shower completes the ground floor, with one final outside door to the roof patio and where the clothes drying lines are to be found.
The grand stairway to the upstairs bedrooms is illuminated during the day by a huge south-facing window, through which the sea and the city of Faro can just be seen from the balcony that links the bedrooms.
The master double bedroom has views to the south, west and north, with patio doors to a discrete balcony on the south and west sides. The bathroom features twin-basins and a massage shower unit.
The singles bedroom has patio doors to a small balcony and the views to the south, but additionally, the patio doors to the north lead to the larger rooftop terrace with it's fabulous mountain views.
Both upper bedrooms have walk-through wardrobes.
The garden features a plethora of managed shrubs and foliage around the edges of the property.
The garage access level has an interesting circular communal area at the bottom of the 'giant's steps', and the lower garden level is all fallow, with a 'hidden' naturally covered pathway that skirts the bottom of the land.

Guests are able to access all areas of the property as described, although an incomplete annex and linen storeroom to the east of the building will remain locked (you are welcome to view if curious - just ask).
One key to the front door and one electronic remote controller per vehicle will be made available (to a maximum of three).
All doors with access to outside areas can be unlocked from inside, for reasons of safety.

The garden has certain dangers, such as cactus points, exposed rocks and the pond. Due care must be taken when exploring the grounds and children should be supervised at all times.
The remains of the windmills either side of the premises are a good indication of the significant elevation of the area, which may be occasionally breezy, so care should be taken when considering the use of any form of sunshade.
The location has neighbours, but is nevertheless peaceful. Consideration towards the ambient is encouraged.
The house and grounds are pet-free (for reasons of hygiene) and the house is strictly smoke-free.
Apart from the initial welcome, introduction to the location and handover of keys, no further interraction is anticipated until checking out.
The host can be contacted at the number provided at any time during a guests' visit for enquiries or maintenance matters.
During long stays a complete change of all bed linen and towels may be made available at the guest's request.
I live and work in the Algarve - and have done so for many years now - although my family spend much of their time in the UK, whilst my children continue with their education.
