A perfect blend of farmhouse and cottage, my place is close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Nantahala River, Fontana Lake, Lake Glenville, WCU, hiking, and waterfalls. My place is a great central location for those wanting to visit Bryson City, Cashiers, and Highlands. Just 10 minutes from Dillsboro and Sylva, NC. You’ll love my place because of the cozy decor, mountain views, and central location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Weitere wichtige Infos
All linens are provided, including bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels. We recommend that you bring or purchase consumable supplies - paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries - if you'll be staying longer than a couple of nights. There will be a “starter amount” of these when you arrive. We have a wood-burning fire pit, and you will need to supply the wood. We supply dish washing liquid, trash bags, and hand soap. If you will be enjoying a water activity like tubing or white water rafting, we recommend bringing beach towels. We also recommend that you bring insect repellent, especially during the warmer months.
Internet can be generally slow here in the mountains. You may have interruptions for streaming or heavy game use. It is the best option available for this rural area.
This is a very quiet and private setting. Loud, disruptive, or unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
I moved to the beautiful Smoky Mountains of North Carolina in 2011 after working in the hospitality business for 28 years in Southwest Florida. I have always had a passion for the lodging business and had a vision to build a private getaway on my property to rent out to guests who want to sit back and relax in these beautiful mountains. My dream came to life as construction began on the guest house in the summer of 2016. We call it "Maggie's Cottage," named after my daugther, who also has a passion for these mountains. Our cottage was completed in January 2017, and we look forward to welcoming you to our little neck of the woods.
