Housed in an iconic Adelaide Queen Anne villa (named "Yallum") in vibrant Prospect.

It is a gracious, relaxing and spacious apartment with private entrance from the street though a walled courtyard garden to your secluded holiday residence.

Climate control through your choice of reverse cycle air-conditioning or natural ventilation.

Relax in complimentary bathrobe on your comfy Queen bed and watch television, read or enjoy breakfast in bed, propped up with luxury pillows. Plenty of storage for clothes and luggage, bedside tables with reading lamps, dressing table and full length mirror makes your bedroom a pleasure. Enjoy your beautifully decorated and spacious bedroom with original leadlight windows, 12 foot ceilings with picture rails and ceiling roses.

The living room is comfortably furnished with a club style sofa (converts to double sofa bed), upholstered chairs and coffee table for enjoying some easy conversation. A dining table for 4 over looks an internal paved and planted courtyard.

The fully equipped kitchenette is complete with refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and conduction hotplate. Plates, utensils, cutlery, glasses.......tea, coffee, sugar, condiments ......everything you need to allow you to feel at home.

There is also gas compact kettle barbecue in the courtyard for summer al fresco cooking and dining.

The octagonal bathroom is light and airy with beautiful leaded windows. It includes an enormous glass enclosed shower, dressing counter and illuminated mirrored wall cabinet. Fluffy towels, hairdryer, liquid soap and shampoo/conditioner is provided.

Enjoy free-to-air TV in both living and bedrooms. Moderate WiFi NBN access is available.

You have access to the apartment directly through the front garden from the street. Enter via the walled and gated courtyard complete with cafe table and chairs and a red leadlight front door.
Once inside you have full and unrestricted access to your self contained bedroom, living room including kitchenette and bathroom.
Entry points to other parts of the home are secured to maintain your privacy and ensure your comfort and confidence.

Your hosts live in the building and will be available (in person, text or phone) to answer your questions about the apartment, the neighborhood and share a local's perspective about Adelaide.

Stephanie works in Mental Health and Kevin works from home in IT and teaching, and are long term Adelaideans. They are keen to respect your privacy while remaining available to assist you with your needs or questions. Kevin and Stephanie are happy to offer any advice or recommendations.............just ask.

Public transport (bus stop 10 is just a 4 min walk away with buses passing every 15 minutes) takes you straight into North Adelaide (2km), then past St Peter's Cathedral (3km), Women's and Childrens' Hospital (3km), Adelaide Oval (3.5km), Elder Park (3.8km), Festival Theatre (3.8km), Adelaide Uni (3.8km), North Tce (Arts and Education) Precincts (4km), Rundle Mall(4.2km), Adelaide Town Hall (4.5km), Victoria Square (4.6km) and Adelaide central Markets (4.7km) and the Adelaide Showgrounds (8km) before terminating at Flinder's University (17km).

There is 1 huge bedroom with a Queen bed which can accommodate a single or couple beautifully. There is also an ottoman which extends to a single bed. Further sleeping accommodation can be provided by a pullout double bed from the living room sofa.

The bathroom has a gravity fed rainfall style shower head at approximately 175 cms above floor level.

Street parking is readily available and unrestricted; off street parking is available on request.

Additional guests are welcome, but please be aware that additional people utilising the sofa bed in the living room will inhibit the flow of that room and the bed will have to be packed up daily to use the kitchen and living space effectively.

Stephanie is a warm host and she make sure everything was in order for our arrival. My husband especially enjoy the bottle of wine and cheese platter she prepare for us. Very convenient for food too. Would surely recommend her place!

Stephanie's place was brilliant - there were three of us and it was perfectly comfortable to navigate and use the space with one of us on the sofa, one on the queen bed and one on the single bed. Kevin and Stephanie are both lovely and greeted us with some cheese, bread and wine when we arrived. The place is very clean, charming and was great for our 5-day stay in Adelaide.

Myself and two friends had the immense pleasure of staying at Stephanie and Kevin's place for a couple of days. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted very kindly with a tour of the lovely place. We were welcomed with a platter of cheeses, a bottle of wine and amazing freshly baked bread! During the stay, Stephanie was very easy to reach. The house also had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay: heating/cooling, fridge, kitchenette, TV, comfortable beds, extra linen, easy parking, and wonderful hosts. I can't wait to stay again the next time I'm in Adelaide!

Stephanie and Kevin were kind and accommodating hosts and their place lovely. Comfy bed, lovely warm atmosphere and pretty much everything you could possibly need, including a lovely welcome gift! It was perfectly suited to our needs. The shower isn't much chop so if a good shower is important to you, probably not the place for you but perfect for a couple nights. Stephanie's apartment is immaculate. I had read other reviews before arriving, so I kind of knew what to expect, but was blown away by nearly everything about this place. Upon arrival, Stephanie and Kevin greeted me and showed me around the apartment. They are very kind people who have your best interests at heart. They know exactly what you want and have detailed instructions on everything including the amenities, places to eat, bus routes and even all the manuals for any appliance in the apartment. The decor is lovely, definitely feels like you are at home which I appreciate, the bed is amazingly comfortable and has plenty of blankets for cold nights. There is no need to bring anything but clothes and a tooth-brush because they have you covered even down to milk in the fridge, wow! I could only find one negative thing about my overall experience and did not affect my stay in the slightest, the water pressure in the shower is mediocre at best, I'm not sure how they could improve that as I'm no plumber. Overall I would very highly recommend Stephanie's place dubbed "Yallum", it is the perfect place for your next stay in Adelaide and you will NOT be disappointed.

Stephanie's air bnb is everything it is advertised to be and more. Beautifully decorated with period charm, super quiet space to unwind in, wonderful front patio to enjoy my breakfast and BBQ supper, and just down the street from the Prospect shops. Never had to use my car to run errands after work. Everything very close at hand, and the bus to the downtown was also just a short walk away. Stephanie and Kevin are wonderfully kind hosts providing a lovely welcome platter on arrival and various treats from their garden through my stay. They gave me a great intro to the space when I arrived so I knew how everything worked, and even offered to get me to and from the airport! They were immediately responsive to any requests or questions. This is my #1 airbnb of all time! Looking forward already to a repeat 3+ week stay next year. I could not have asked for anything more!

Not long ago I recognised the pleasures of cruising......a luxurious floating caravan where the travel happens while I snooze in comfort ready for a day in port.
