Beschreibung

Die Unterkunft

Your bedroom is totally private. The kitchen and the bathroom have everything you need. I will provide some fruit from the local market and one towel per guest as well. There is a radiator available as well.

Zugang für Gäste

Guests have access to the building backyard, which is quite a treat. There is full roof access as well if you want to bask in the sun or see 360 views of downtown, Golden Gate Park, Mt Sutro, and Ashbury Heights.

Interaktion mit Gästen

I'd be happy to give you recommendations that wouldn't be in the guide books around the Haight/Cole Valley area and beyond. I will be there should you need anything but I respect your peace and privacy : )

Die Nachbarschaft

Haight Street is both historically fascinating and entertaining. There's tons of vintage shopping. There's an incredible grocery store a block away. You can rent a bike down the street to ride through Golden Gate Park or over the bridge, or stroll over to the de Young museum, Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Gardens, and Japanese gardens which are all nestled in the park.
The houses are absolutely beautiful in this area; it's a walk away from the Painted Ladies and that is definitely the architectural vibe over here.

Verkehrsmittel

Street parking is available around the area.

Because the Haight is centrally located, you can get to Ocean Beach just as easily as you can get to the Embarcadero.

Public transportation is abundant; you can get to downtown, the Castro, the Mission, or Ocean Beach from a bus stop one block from the apartment (). The N muni line also is right up the street.

Lyft and Uber are cheap within a certain area ($4-$5 shared rides from the apartment) so those are good options as well.

Nutzerprofil von Kate

I moved to San Francisco from New York recently, and have since been exploring all that California has to offer. I split my time between cooking, doing crosswords, and playing records. I work in the architecture world, so I have a certain respect and appreciation for people's homes and property.
