The Lily Pad is a truly unique property that offers privacy, space and versatility. Centrally located in a scenic rural pocket within Byron Bay, it’s only a 5-minute drive to the beach and town, yet a million miles away from the cares of the world. Couples will enjoy the serenity of the Studio pavilion, while extra family/ friends can be accommodated with the addition of the Retreat pavilion.
THE STUDIO PAVILION:
Perfect as a couple’s escape, the architect-designed Studio offers scenic views and a relaxed tropical atmosphere with all the conveniences of Byron’s famous beach and town nearby. It features a relaxed, open plan interior, with full living and dining room, covered deck areas, well-equipped kitchen, queen bedroom, bathroom and high quality, contemporary furniture.
The Studio is spacious and light-filled with high ceilings, timber floors and sliding glass doors/windows with fly screens. It has a real “cook's kitchen” with new cookware, stone bench tops, quality stainless steel appliances, and a full size dishwasher and refrigerator.
Floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe provides privacy and separates the bedroom from the rest of the Studio. The bedroom has views to the trees and a quality latex queen mattress to ensure a peaceful nights’ rest.
The comfortable entertaining room includes two lounges, TV, Blu-ray player with a selection of movies and books to enjoy during your stay. Free WI-FI internet and a mini hi-fi system (radio/ CD/ Bluetooth) is available for guest use.
Sliding doors open from the dining room onto the covered timber deck. Relax in the cane chairs and enjoy the palm trees, birds, wallabies and sunset - it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cool drink at the end of a day.
The shaded outdoor dining area features a gas Weber BBQ, teak dining table and two sun high quality lounges with cushions. Complete with exterior lighting, the area is ideal for leisurely lunches or relaxed evening meals overlooking the lush, tropical gardens.
The main bathroom has a shower and bush views. Outdoor access through the bathroom sliding door takes guests to the cool back deck where stepping stones lead to the outdoor shower/ laundry and kitchen herb garden.
The outdoor shower is a real treat with hot and cold water, pebble-tiled floor and custom-built sliding timber slatted privacy screen. An external laundry with washing machine, tub, dryer, iron and board and clothesline is available for guest use.
THE RETREAT PAVILION
Located adjacent to the Studio, the Retreat Pavilion provides a separate and private space for two extra guests, ideal for families with teenage children or other family/friends. Designed and built to complement the Studio pavilion, the Retreat features the same contemporary style, open plan interior.
Offering two king single beds, bathroom with shower, large living room with futon lounge and TV/Blu-ray, the Retreat is a self-contained living and sleeping space that provides additional accommodation while maintaining guest privacy and space. Tea/ coffee making facilities are provided for guest use within the Retreat.
Note: A 5-night minimum rate is applicable during School Holidays and Peak Periods.

The Lily Pad at Byron abounds with native flora and fauna. Even wallabies and koalas have been spotted by recent guests! The lush tropical gardens include a large landscaped pond with water lilies and the nearby paddocks are home to a number of horses.
Guest access is via the driveway from Skinners Shoot Road, which is shared with the main house on the property. There is plenty of parking but the garage is not for guest use.
o Please note that 7 night minimum stays may apply during holiday seasons.
o Group restrictions - maximum of 4 adults at the property.
o A $1000 Security Deposit will be required. This is held as a pre-authorization on a credit card. The Management will require a credit card for the Security Deposit prior to sending through arrival instructions.
o Strict no party policy - fees and eviction can apply for security call-outs (in response to the noisy neighbor hotline).
o No schoolies permitted.
o Christmas and New Year Bookings: if dates include both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve a 12 night min stay applies.
o We reserve the right to cancel any bookings made that do not comply with these conditions. Breaches of these conditions during your stay may result in loss of bond or immediate termination.
