The microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven and grill should also be clean and in their original condition. If you prefer to leave these and have us clean them for you, we will be happy to do so at a charge of $25 each. In our experience it is quite rare that we must do so, but Extra cleaning charges may apply for any extra-ordinary messes left behind after your departure. To avoid stains and extra charges, we ask that you keep all food and beverages in the kitchen, dining or deck areas
Paddler's Lane does have cell service. Verizon has a tower and very good reception and AT&T has a tower which has recently become operational. Other carriers generally have decent reception via the Verizon tower.
Confluence is a very small town, about 400 people, so it doesn’t have big town amenities. It does have a gas station, car repair garage, bank, post office, cycle shop, river outfitter, grocery store, pharmacy, vegetable market, day spa, hardware store, churches, a dollar general and other small town amenities.  It has several restaurants and cafés. If you visit during the off season several of these dining establishments will have limited hours or will be closed so during this time you may want to consider cooking in, going farther afield or opt for the limited selection in town. From April through October Lucky Dog Cafe is an excellent local choice, as is River’s Edge Cafe.
All in all you should be able to get any of the basics that you need here. If you find yourself in need of anything of a more exotic nature Somerset is approximately 35 minutes away on 281 North and Uniontown is reached in half an hour or so by taking 281 South to 40 West .
Typical of many of the world’s rivers, the Youghiogheny is joined for much of its length by a set of train tracks. The train is a part of life on the river and should be thought of as such. It should not hinder your enjoyment of your surroundings. Our guests don't feel that the trains are detrimental to their overall experience. (A significant number of them join us because they are intrigued by the train!) We think that you will agree. Children are especially fond of the train.
We are located on a very rural private road. The constant drone of traffic or the roar of semis blowing by which is endemic for most locations will not be a part of your day. Instead you will have the constant movement of the river in your back yard, the rooster voicing his wake-up call, the whistle and rumble of a passing train, and the wind finding its way through the trees. In the summer months humming birds add to the noise and the drone of cicadas is often a companion during the later summer months. .
Some of the amenities that you will find in the house are these: central heat and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with appliances large and small, including a dishwasher. All of your linens and towels are supplied. Free Wi-fi is included. Board games are stored in the entertainment center. You will also find a large fieldstone fireplace, and in addition, there is a fire pit located behind each house and another beside the river.  You will also have expansive decks and an outdoor grill (Don’t forget to bring your charcoal!) and plenty of room for parking and gear storage

We all enjoyed our stay here. We were a group of 12 looking to exchange our bachelor/bachelorette parties for a fun weekend away. The home was quite comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful. The loft was great for some of us, but be aware that really tall people would not be able to stand. There was enough room for everyone and we really enjoyed being so close to the river and being able to bring our dogs. Overall, we had a great time!!

Antwort von Robin:
We really appreciated having your group stay, and found your idea of a co-ed pre wedding get-a-way delightful (rather than the more traditional bachelor and bachelorette parties) You have a great group of friends and seem well on your way to a wonderful life together. Congratulations!

Robin is quite hands on and will try to help with what ever your require. Most of the beds though, are in the loft, so that's something that has to be seen if you're comfortable with. With us being a larger group, we had a great time at the place. It's close to all kinds of activities and any thing you might require as groceries or food is very close by.

This place was great! 12 of us came down to stay for a white water rafting trip. This place was perfect for us. The scenery is beautiful, the house is wonderful. The host was very pleasant and ensured we would be comfortable. There are three main bedrooms, two of which have bathrooms attached. The upper loft, though small, sleeps eight grown-ups comfortably. The fire place in the main area is a great center where everyone can gather and make great memories. I love that the Yough is literally right out the back door. We could not have asked for a better place for our trip at such a reasonable price.

The main house was well appointed with plenty of room for our extended family. The loft was great for all of the kids to sleep and play. Plenty of bathrooms in the house. Robin was a great host. Trains run by frequently but we quickly adjusted and barely heard them.

Robin and Dan were excellent hosts! My family and I had an excellent time staying in their home. We had a total of 16 people stay in the house and nobody ever felt cramped for space. In addition, their home is in an excellent location considering it is only a few steps to great fishing and a short drive to the town of Ohiopyle. My family's only regret was not being able to stay an extra day! We will definitely be staying there again soon.
