Restaurants and bars are right round the corner, both upscale and casual. This room is 6 minutes away by car or uber to Chicago's famous Willis (Sears) tower. Uber costs about $7. If you are arriving by car, I am providing free parking passes for anywhere in the area. (Yes, that means you can drive a few blocks and still park anywhere you want!)

How would you like to have your own cozy home in the heart of the Windy City, just ten minutes away from Willis Tower? Traveling for work or pleasure- make your Chicago stay a memorable one. This spacious private room is minutes away from Chicago's most spectacular tourist attractions and business hubs. Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile of shops, fine restaurants, and world famous theaters and sports arenas are a short trip away. Planning a getaway outside of the loop? Main train and bus stations are a few steps away. Regardless of what brings you to Chicago, a short weekend trip or a business conference, this private room will be a perfect choice for all sorts of travelers and with no doubts will live up to your expectations! Your queen sized bed will always be lined with fresh sheets. You will always find clean towels, soap and shampoos in your bathroom and if you choose to stay in for the night, you'll find your kitchen equipped with everything you'll need. The Little Italy is Chicago's most charming neighbourhood, but don't take my word for it, ask your local friends. Besides its charm, Chicago's Little Italy is known for its safety and decorative architecture and famous residents who once lived in the neighborhood. Al Capone once owned several shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, which with no doubts still holds some of the charm from Chicago's Roaring Twenties. Come see it yourself! Some even say that time to time Al Capone's lonely ghost passes by along the street. If you see one make sure to take pictures! :) I must insure you; however, that the mythical ghost is the only relict of Chicago's criminal past.

The room will be solely yours for the time you'll stay in the Windy City. Shall you have any concerns or need any tips from the local, I'll always be happy to help you and I am available 24/7!

Don't be afraid to ask questions! See you soon in Chicago!

You will be given a door code to access the apartment 1 night prior to arrival and a key to lock your private room on your bed :) All the information regarding your check-in will be sent to you the night before your arrival!

You'll have access to the following:

> Free Wi Fi, central air conditioning, and heating.

> Private room includes: comfy queen bed, night stand, fresh towels & linens, closet with hangers, lock on the door with a key.

> Spacious kitchen includes: microwave, stove, fridge, dishes, and pods.

> Cozy living room includes: large table, chairs, sofa, and coffee tables.

> Clean bathroom includes: bathtub/shower, shampoo & conditioner, body wash

> Closet to store your baggage before your check-in and after your check-out

Little Italy is a proud neighborhood; there are landmarks around the area that showcase Italian culture. The National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame, founded in 1977, is “dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and heritage of Italian Americans in sports." Across the street from the Hall of Fame is the Piazza DiMaggio, built in 1998 as a gift from the City of Chicago to the Little Italy area. In the piazza is a much-photographed sculpture of Joe DiMaggio. Another landmark in the area is the Our Lady of Pompeii Church, a community center and shrine to Mary. Open to people of all faiths. Nearby is Arrigo Park, a 6-acre park whose main attraction is a large sculpture of Christopher Columbus. Named for Victor Arrigo, an Italian American who served as Illinois State Representative, the park is a picturesque haven in the midst of Little Italy.

There are a number of stores and gift shops that sell a variety of authentic Italian items, including furniture, gift baskets, and art. Make sure to visit Gina's Ice Cream Shop for a taste of some authentic Italian gelato, or Arezzo Jewelers for a gorgeous selection of handcrafted Italian charms. It's a great way to take a little piece of Italy home with you!

And when you're done shopping, make sure to take some time to enjoy one of the many Little Italy restaurants that serve up a delicious selection of Italian cuisine. With everything from pizza, to pasta, to tasty cannoli, there's something for everyone. Certain Little Italy restaurants along Taylor Street are especially well known. These include Rosebud's, Pompei, Tuscany, and Francesca's. When dining at one of these fine Little Italy restaurants, there is a sense of history and pleasure mixed with the knowledge that the establishment has been around for a long time. Serving good, hearty food is something that the Chicago Little Italy neighborhood does well.

Although less-exclusively Italian than in its early days, Little Italy Chicago is a popular part of the city offering a proud Italian culture and cuisine to locals and visitors alike.

I am an accountant working downtown. I speak Russian and French fluently (in addition to English, of course) and am available to help 24/7 :) Hotels can get really expensive in Chicago, so I do my best to help tourists out!
