My name is Edwina and I am married to my wonderful husband Chris. We have been here in Puy L'Eveque for thirteen years and we love our life here. We have been running our gite business for thirteen years and have loved our life doing this, we left England and our families to come here to live, I have learned French with the help of our lovely French friends, we miss seeing our families regularly but do manage lots of visits from them; but it has been exactly the right move for us and over the years we have met so many wonderful people who often come as guests and leave as friends. Chris and I love travelling and have spent many years exploring the world, after our wedding here in the village (the first English residents to marry here) our honeymoon was spent on a large BMW travelling all round New Zealand; we have explored India by train and travelled to Sarawak to see the amazing Oarangatans and of course the long houses with the walls still with shrunken heads from long ago, just a few of our travels . We are currently planning a journey on the trans Siberian railway for next spring. My other passions are gardening and battling the garden here by the river which when we arrived had several trees and hundreds of laurel bushes 4 metres high and of course sailing and exploring the seas in the Mediterranean. Chris loves, canoeing, sailing, rowing, history, politics and DIY, together we have worked hard to make your holiday accomodation and your stay as perfect as we can. We are very happy to help if you need local information, places to visit, wine tasting and great restaurants. Welcome to our home.
We believe in making things happen, travelling and meeting people from all over the world has made life a rich experiance.
