The place is pretty much easy going and we never had complains from our neighbors. There is lots of old wood in the building, so be carefull with candles and if you smoke, do so on the roof top terrace... Deichstrasse already burnt down once in 1842. The fire that destroyed most of Hamburg back then started across the street.
