Fig Tree Cabin is 40km south of Cairns set on a 109 acre rural property bordering the beautiful Fig Tree Creek
The property is on the eastern slopes of Mount Bellenden Ker and adjoins the vast Wooroonooran National Park.
My wife Lynda and I also live here on the property and we would like to share it with you.
Guests are free to explore the property, swim in the creek and enjoy the wildlife.
There is abundant birdlife and jungle perch can be seen in the creek. Cassowaries, platypus and echidnas also live here but are secretive animals and hard to spot.
The Fishery Falls Hotel is 3km to the north and provides meals.
There is a BP service station 2km to the south that does fish and chips.
Access to the reef on the Frankland Islander is 4km away
The cabin is set in a private location facing a tropical fruit orchard and is fully screened with a short walk to the amenities which you have exclusive use of.
Ground coffee and tea is provided.

Soap, shampoo bath and swimming towels are provided in the amenities area.

Lynda and I are appreciative of the natural environment that surrounds us and we would like to share it with others. Over the years we have been replanting the property with native trees to encourage and provide refuge for birds and animals.
