We stopped here for just one night on our way to Skyline Drive in Shenandoah. The kitchen cabin was so well stocked!

This place is Summer camp for families without a counselor planned agenda. There is so much to do. It's natural and fun! It's not a 5 star hotel, so don't expect that. But it IS extremely well cared for and appointed. If you forgot something the communal kitchen has it! I was so pleased with this place, we decided to make this an annual trip before we even left! I will be raving about this place for awhile and I feel lucky to have found this gem! We will be back and with a bigger tribe next time! AWESOME place!

Wow! I didn't want to leave this place that is so fun and peaceful! The bunk cabins are like camping but so much better since you're in a cabin in a comfy bed. The lake is fantastic, with chairs, floats, kayaks, a volleyball net, porta-potty so you don't have to go back up the hill, and a "beach house" to get out of the sun or play a game. It's a natural lake so be prepared for natural growth in it. The community kitchen is very well-stocked (all but food!) and charming. The cabin doesn't have shades or curtains so bring eye covers and/or ear plugs if you want to sleep early or sleep in. Can't wait to bring my friends! Thank you, Vincent!!

Hello Michelle - thanks so much for all of the kind words and feedback and would love to host future retreats with you.... and all private feedback noted -- the lake algae problem is now taken care of thanks to dealing with a partially clogged drain and another round of copper sulfate to control lake grass --- thanks and lots of great ideas! agree with all of them.

Really nice, remote campground. Communal kitchen and common areas with lots to do within the camp, and really fascinating local scenery. The cabins were nice, clean with single and bunk beds. Great for larger groups. The kitchen was clean, well appointed and had two larger refrigerators for all of the food we brought. I will definitely be back!
