Rosecot is a beautiful newly refurbished 200yr old traditional Cotswold stone cottage situated in the heart of 'old town' Bourton-on-the-Water.
The cottage is found on a tranquil side street, surrounded by tall trees and is the perfect Cotswold get-away in which to rest, relax and unwind.
This little 200 year old cottage is brimming with original features and heaps of Cotswolds charm. The perfect way to enjoy your relaxing Cotswolds get-away.
You can leave your slippers at home as we have underfloor heating in the stone floor kitchen and dining area. Lovely toasty toes!
The cottage has one king size bedroom however a sofa bed is available in the snug lounge area if the party is for three. The sofa bed is most likely best suited for a long weekend as the cottage is pretty compact and bijou.
Zugang für Gäste
The cottage does not have dedicated parking however there are several parking options in Bourton both paid and unpaid close by.
It is worth noting that due to Rosecot's grand age the stairs are very narrow and steep (see photo gallery). If any of your party are unsteady on their feet or have limited mobility this would not be a good choice of accommodation.
Interaktion mit Gästen
Where possible we like to say hello and introduce you to Rosecot cottage. If this is not possible there is the possibility of leaving a key in a lock box so that you can let yourself in and enjoy.
Of course, we are always available via the Airbnb app too if needed.

Rosecot is a very special little cottage with a lot of original 200 year old features and quirky personality. She is best suited to guests who appreciate wonderfully wonky walls and having to 'duck' for the odd low beam or narrow staircase.
This very special cottage deserves very special treatment. We would appreciate no shoes being worn in the house (but there's underfloor heating downstairs so your toes will be warm and toasty).
The cottage is compact and bijou so no undisclosed extra guests please.
Absolutely no smoking in the house or garden.
We decided to refurbish our little Rosecot cottage after visiting Bourton-on-the-Water for the day and falling in love with it's charm. We thought maybe everyone else would enjoy it too!
I love setting the house up ready for new guests and ensuring that everyone really enjoys their special time here.
