My place is close to the river Lot for swimming and fishing, Cajarc for shopping and restaurants, on a cliff edge overlooking the river with a beautiful view. During the summer, there are many cultural events, concerts, and fairs. Many prehistorical sites, megaliths, and medieval castles are within a 50 kilometre radius. You’ll love the view, the peace and quiet, and the outdoor space. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. We cannot accommodate dogs because of the resident cats.
The situation of the house on a cliff with a magnificent view with an outdoor terrace that overlooks the River Lot and the valley is the main appeal. It is very peaceful and relaxing.

There is also a private outdoor space with table, chairs and sun parasol as well as a chaise longue outside the guest room and guest entrance for your exclusive use. You are welcome to use the terrace on the cliff side as well and eat outdoors weather permitting. You can use the salon and watch television in the evening, but this is not for your exclusive use. Kitchen facilities are limited because the refrigerator is small and I use the kitchen extensively. You should not count on having full time free access to cook full scale meals. You have use of a washing machine for clothes and a clothes line outside in the garden. There is no dryer.

I am always available to provide information and recommendations for local amenities, sites, and restaurants. I enjoy having a drink and a chat on arrival or at breakfast time. Each guest is different and we kind of work it out. I want you to be comfortable and feel at home. You must ask for anything you need that maybe went overlooked. I use the living room a lot and work on my computer and listen to France Music frequently and watch some television in the evenings.
The first two guests I had wanted breakfast. So I made them a copious breakfast for which I asked a supplement of 8 Euros. If you want breakfast served, just let me know the night before.
There are nice walks although quite rugged and uphill. The immediate village of Cadrieu has no particular amenities. Cajarc, 4 kilometers away, has, an Office de Tourisme and commerce such as supermarkets, butchers, boulangers, cafes, restaurants, garages, all sorts of specialty boutiques and doctors and other medical services. There are many activities such as canoeing, water skiing, horse riding, and historical chateaux, caves and more to visit.
There is an SNCF car that goes between Cahors and Figeac several times a day in both directions. The timetable can be found on the SNCF website. Otherwise, it's by car, bicycle, or on foot.
