Thank you for your review Susan. We are sorry you did not like the artwork in the apartment because we are very proud of it and of our space. The artwork is mostly about sexuality, gender, and culture related to the LGBT community and to our own activism. We do list our space as LGBT-friendly and that we are LGBT-identified hosts.
Moreover, we know the artists, or are the artists of all of the work in the apartment. We do not aim to decide what is suitable or not for others, nor do we aim to have our materials or our culture censored or condemned by guests to our home. Art, by nature, is subjective and interpretive and we do not feel that there is any issue with the artwork in our apartment (we also feel confident that each caregiver of a child who might stay in the apartment can make choices for themselves without discrediting the work itself). Additionally, it was not arranged that there would be a child in the apartment during your stay.
