My place is close to Minutes from Cedar Point, Kalahari, restaurants and dining, steps to the beach and park, family-friendly activities, nightlife and Lake Erie Islands.You’ll love my place because of the fact that it is new, clean and beautiful. This is a home away from home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and larger groups (with the sleeping arrangement, you need to be a close group-make sure you look at the rooming set-up).

This is an upstairs home (below is a garage, you have the home to yourselves). It is approximately 1300 square feet living space in size. In addition to this, there are two outside decks on the ground level and second story level, both with furniture and gas grills. Also there is off street parking for 4 average cars, 5 small vehicles. There is a car port if one needs covered. If trailering a boat or jet skis, is will take up most of the room and it is is tight, but doable.

There are two private beaches in our association that you have access to. One is Willow Grove (bring one pass, on the fireplace). To get there walk up Silvern to Lakewood and take a left. You will eventually get to a small path to walk through and go over the bridge and there is the beach.

The second is Rye Beach Association Park & Pier. Just go out the front door, walk straight through the vacant lot across the street and you will seen the park just steps away. There is a park, beach and pier for your enjoyment. Just bring the pass on the fireplace.

Also, the resort at Sawmill Marina is called the Lodge. That is a minute car drive and just go west on Cleveland Rd. and it is on the right. At the Lodge, there is an Olympic size pool, a heated indoor pool, work-out room, bb courts, tennis courts that you can access. If anyone asks, you are with the boaters at slip #85, the Roshongs. Also, back at the marina, which is a little walk, is a huge beautiful beach, but worth the walk. Just park back in the marina close to the water. The path is west of the parking lot on the lake.

There are two beaches near the cottage. One is adjacent (northwest) of the property with a park, BB court, pier and beach. The other is southeast of the cottage. Just walk up Silvern to Lakewood and take a left. It dead ends into Willow Grove Beach, where we have access to. If anyone asks, just give them the address and let them know we have paid the membership dues. There will be a lanyards to wear for one person of the group. Please sign the rental agreement and give to me once everyone has signed. Everyone has to sign before they stay, but can do so upon arrival.

Guests that are parties to this contract and their minor children, and any other person these Guests invite on to the premises Indemnify and Hold Harmless the Homeowner/Renter for all injuries or any other event including, but not limited to any injuries to persons or property, including, but not limited to:

a. This rental home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
b. All Guests and their parents if minors, expressly acknowledge that the entire home is on a second story and there are steps to access the premises. There is adequate safety rails and width and depth of the stairs for safe access. All guests and parents of under 18 guests expressly acknowledge that they are responsible for the safety of themselves and their children from any type of danger, including but not limited to any falls, slips, cuts or any type of injury, including on the staircase.
c. All guests and parents of under 18 guests expressly acknowledge that they are responsible for the safety of themselves and their children from any type of danger, as there is a second story deck that is connected to the home. There is no access or stairs down, for the additional safety of the Guests. But, all Guests and parents of guests under 18 years are responsible for any injury resulting from any injury arising from a fall from the deck, stairs or any other item.

Maintain the Premises. All Guests, including children, whereby their parents accept liability, will keep the property and all furnishings in the condition it was in upon arrival.

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

Pets are NOT allowed. Any sign of any Pets will allow Homeowner to demand immediate evacuation with no rental refund.

Parking. Two cars are able to fit under the carport and three other cars are able to fit on the concrete pad in front of the garage. GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED USE OF THE INSIDE GARAGE. If there are other vehicles, there is street parking very nearby.

Housekeeping. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. There is a washer and a dryer and washing detergent supplied. There are also general cleaning supplies to maintain the home while there. We hope that you treat it as your own home. But, guests are not expected to clean the unit before leaving, but also not leaving it in disrepair. The Homeowner will clean the linens upon checkout. But, Guests may launder towel or any other items during their stay if needed. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

Fireplace. The fireplace is a non-vented electric fireplace that does emit heat. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.

Storms. If there is bad weather while you are renting, there are no refunds as this is out of the control of the Homeowner. The Homeowner will assist in finding activities, which there are many things to do in the event of bad weather.

ADDITIONAL NIGHTS and LATE CHECK OUT. In the event a Guest wishes to extend their stay and there is no other party checking in, this may be negotiated and must be paid in cash prior to the additional stay, which also extends this contract.

Parties. There shall be no weddings, graduations, receptions or similar events where there are more than 20 persons in the Rental at one time. Never shall there be more than 15 persons sleeping in the Rental.

Damage. Any damage to any item or the theft of any item shall be deducted from the security deposit. It is expressly understood that the home and all property in it shall be returned in the same condition it was found. In the event more damage was done that covered under the security deposit, the Guest is responsible to reimburse the Homeowner for the additional monies to repair the damage.

The parties agree to the terms of this Short Term Rental Agreement, as evidenced by the signatures set forth below and acknowledge that they have read each page of this 4 page agreement and fully understand each and every section of this agreement.

Alicia was an amazing host!! The house was immaculate, and Alicia lives 2 houses away and was there in 2 seconds if we needed anything at all!! I would recommend this location or any of Alicia's locations to anybody any day of the week!!

The house was clean and ready to go. Perfect location for our adventures to Cedar Point! We loved walking down to the little beach area down the street. Alicia was available help us when we needed her.

Close to Cedar Point. Easy to get to the water - boating or just hanging at the beach. We were even allowed to have a fire in the pit at the nearby beach. Thanks for a great stay, Alicia!

I am an attorney and my husband is an engineer. We love the summer because we work hard all year and take advantage of the fantastic summers here in Huron Ohio. Our guest home is a perfect getaway for anyone who loves the beach, the lake, Cedar Point, great restaurants and the Lake Erie Islands. We live just around the corner so we are almost always available for any issues you may have. We love boating, sports, fine dining and wine-- cannot forget the wine!!
