What a wonderful place! Set amongst the almond trees with lovely views across the countryside down to the sea! We never actually met Louise as we arrived late at night but her husband met us and escorted us to the villa, thank goodness we would never have found it on our own in the dark at 11pm at night! We also missed her when she popped over bearing gifts of bread and eggs midway through our stay but she couldn't have been more helpful communicating with us by text message and immediately sorting out a couple of minor issues that cropped up. She also got some basic groceries in for us as we were arriving so late which was very much appreciated.
We were slightly worried when we arrived as we trundled our way along ever smaller roads in the pitch dark wondering where on earth we were going and what we had let ourselves in for! As we arrived at the gate we thought our fears were well founded, the entranceway is not terribly prepossessing, but as we walked up the short flight of steps to the villa our worries melted away and delight took over. The first delight was the infinity pool...sparkling azure with the most wonderful views across the countryside and down to the sea, then a lovely terrace with outside dining table and seating area. Then the villa itself..wow! Such a great fusion of the old village house and modern conveniences. So much space and character and really well equipped. The hardest decision was who was to get which room, but everyone was happy as they were all spacious and lovely. OK there were only 5 of us but even with double that number it would have been great.
We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the town in our own little oasis but you definitely need a car. Thoroughly recommended! One minor criticism (very minor!) only half a loo roll in the entire property when we arrived - but maybe that's a Turkish thing as all the loos also squirt water in the appropriate places if desired!
Thank you so much Louise, we had the most fantastic week in this lovely place!
