Weitere wichtige Infos
There are many sites on Wonoka station to visit. The 2 permanent water holes, the pink rocks and cascades. A trip up Wonoka bluff and the hill Behind the homestead give good views of the station and sunsets. If you’re into hiking a walk along the creek to mayo hut, along the Heysen trail is worthwhile. If you bring your pushbike, a trip along the Mawson trail, across the station is good fun. So there are many things to do on the station as well as trips to iconic sites like Wilpena pound. I would recommend a stay of 3 nights to give you 2 full dates to explore the station and district. Longer if you are can, because I haven’t mentioned everything and a bit of relaxation may suit as well.
