My place is bang in the city centre, on the island at the heart of Cork's historic medieval quarter. The area is steeped in art & culture, with night life, shops, bars & restaurants all close by. You'll love its bright, contemporary decor & cosy family home feel. The bedroom for guests has a high loft double bed. (check out pics!). A very comfortable bed height double air bed is also available. The cities main attractions are all within walking distance...
I'd say the nicest thing about my place is its so bright, airy & spacious. It's 4 floors up, with high ceilings & big windows. The sitting / dining room is big and bright, with underfloor heating & double doors out onto a balcony. I have loft beds built in in both bed rooms, which makes for a really unique sleeping space. The bathroom has a bath and power shower, and kitchen will have all you need, including oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine & fridge freezer.

You will have access to all the apartment apart from one of the two bedrooms, that includes the shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom that is available for guests is a cool relaxing space with Scandanavian style loft double bed. The bathroom has a power shower and you're welcome to take a relaxing bath.

Our small family and cat Laurie normally live here, unless we're on the odd week end away, when you'll just have our cute cat Laurie to hang out with!
When we're here we enjoy chatting with guests, but are happy for you to hang out in your own space if you prefer that. Look forward to hosting you :)

The apartment is right above the Gate Cinema - making any stay a good time to catch a movie. The cinema entrance is so close you could nearly get away with wearing your slippers!!
- You would need to bring a travel cot for small children who can't manage bunk beds. The second bedroom is not available at the moment, but couch in sitting room would fit 2 small kids or one tall grown up! Just remember its a shared sitting room (if we're home!)
Hey I love travelling myself and have had good experiences using Airbnb myself. So I'd like guests here to leave with the same. I enjoy meeting and chatting with people. Cork is an adopted city for me, so am very happy to pass on 'outsider insider' tips about good spots to head to if you're a newbie to the city...:)
