Lovely bright flat in fashionable Hackney, 4 min from the train station. Great for travellers interested to discover East London’s emerging culture: alternative markets, music scene, shopping opportunities, amazing parks.
The lovely split-level flat features great unobstructed views from all rooms, reaching as far as the skyscrapers of the City on the west. You can enjoy amazing skies, the sunset from the living room and directly from your bed. The bedrooms are equipped with new double beds and mattress, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers. One bedroom has a desk and the other a baby's bed that should suit young children, infants and toddlers mainly.
There is a comfortable living room with a library and a balcony facing west, great for enjoying a coffee-drink when the weather is sunny. There is a small bathroom and separate toilet room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay (cutlery, cooking utensils, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, etc).
The flat is a maisonette on the last two floors of a late modernist 1980's apartment block. Please note that this building is not a gated community of any sort! Its residents are not all young and trendy, but it is a true section through the East London community. Despite the rough appearance of the shared areas of the building (such as the entrance and the elevator lobby) the house is safe and the neighbours are friendly.
Update August 2017 - temporary scaffolds were recently placed around the building for facade maintenance works, these should come down in a couple of months. The view out of the flat is not too obstructed, but it temporarily has a more 'industrial' feel to it.
