• Check-in is 4PM or later.

• Smoking: This building, per the onsite management and the individual lease agreements, is a 100% smoke free; including both private and communal roof-top areas, the unit itself and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a complete forfeit of your security deposit.

• Events & Gatherings: We have a zero-tolerance policy with noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. We ask that you please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS from 10PM-8AM.

A good looking flat right next to the ace hotel 'Jesus Saves' sign in DTLA, with space for 3 couples with one on sofa bed- which is actually very comfortable. Well appointed with some nice touches and washing facilities. The apartment wasn't brick wall, however- which makes so real difference but it's slightly misleading and if you come to DTLA for bricks you may be disappointed. I imagine this is another flat in the block. Check-in and out waiting seamless and communication great. Highly recommended.

The place is spacious and comfortable, and nicely designed. The problem is that it's ran by a company and not a private person hence the communication is annoying and complicated. There are forms you have to read and sign prior to check in. Then, more forms reading before check out. We also paid extra for 4 nights parking. The last night the parking lot was locked so we had to pay extra for parking in a different place. When I wrote that to the 'host' he didn't response or offered refund...

We had a last minute Cancellation, so we requested to this place at 1:00 AM the day of. That may have made me slightly more out of sorts than I usually would be. The pictures in this listing are not pictures of the unit we stayed in. The unit we stayed in was perfectly lovely, and very comfortable for us, but is not depicted here, fyi. Also not a loft in any sense of the word I am familiar with. After the host accepted our reservation, there was a flurry of requests they sent, asking us to provide more information, fill out forms, and sign a 6-7ish page contract not through airbnb. I ignored the contract, and nothing came of it, but did send additional information on our guests, and fill out the online form. I would say that doing this all day-of while eating was a bit of a hassle, and did not add to the experience for us. Further, the unit # was not listed on airbnb anywhere, but rather on one of the external sites the host sent to us, and they were a bit snarky when we couldn't find it and asked for help. This could easily be solved by putting it into airbnb or the messages they had sent us, but also a more gracious response would have been sufficient and appreciated. That aside, the space is lovely, and the beds were wonderful. Were a bit confused by the showers, but that is because they are very ingeniously designed. Living room was more than suitable for our needs and the space was appreciated by all of us staying over.

Hi Cullen, due to your last minute request I did have to move some things around to accommodate you. I apologize if that wasn't clear. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the apartment, the beds, and space. So our other prospective guests are clear your reservation request came in at 1 am and we had responded and accepted by just shy of 8 am that same day. I worked very hard to accommodate you last minute, including providing you with all of the necessary information for you to read, and complete, immediately following your reservation confirmation. This gave you roughly 7 hours to read and complete our basic pre-arrival and sign our guest agreement digitally, which takes less than 5 minutes. This information includes all of the pre-arrival information to ensure you have a smooth experience. You failed to complete the guest agreement, as you note herein, and didn't read the arrival information (or house manual) which includes the unit number and detailed instructions on how to operate the shower, as well as tons of other very helpful/necessary information. I do highly recommend that when booking in the future you read the information provided by your host as it will make the check-in, and over all process, much smoother and easier on both host and guest.
