Located on the eastern boundary of the amazing historic district, which affords guests the luxury of easy, free, on-street parking, this delightful studio is a 5-20-minute walk to all the wonders and richness of downtown Savannah -- galleries, nightlife, shopping, dining, and the fabulous Forsyth Park . You’ll love its charm, character, eclectic, cool vibe, and its fantastic location. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We look forward to hosting you!
Our modern studio apartment is part of a 19th century house and shop. This apartment is in the portion of the building which has served various commercial uses, throughout the home's history. In the past this studio has housed a shoe maker, a church, a bakery, a salon, and even a laboratory. This heritage imparts extra character, and the offers the experience of being part of the action of daily life passing by the large picture windows. Modern day action is primarily school kids coming and going from the elementary school across the street, neighbors out walking their dogs and periodic horse drawn carriages passing by in grand Savannah fashion. Still we understand this unique street-level placement can be a little unexpected, particularly to travelers who don't spend most nights in downtown environs. We provide a white noise machine, and privacy window treatments to allow guests a controlled level of privacy in the apartment. The apartment also offers a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a range, microwave and toaster oven. It's well appointed for visitors, but it does not have full-sized appliances or an oven.

I've lived in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles and for the past several years, here in Savannah. I have a practice in psychotherapy (LMFT), and now am lucky enough to host awesome people from all over the globe, in spaces I've enjoyed renovating and re-modeling over the past few years. I've finally moved into "town" myself, and never cease to be amazed by Historic Savannah's richness and beauty. I'm thrilled to be able to share it with others!
