This newly remodeled surf rental is a 15 min bike ride to Trestles, to a world class surfing destination. Trestles is the site of many yearly Pro surf contests, where you can get to witness pros such as Kelly Slater, battle it out in the water. Be within minutes of local breaks such as T Street, the pier, San Clemente State Beach, Lost Winds, Riviera, 204's, and Calafia. It's a 15 minute walk to T Street or a 5 minute drive. There is plenty of parking along with lifeguards on duty (daytime in the summer), showers, and bathrooms, along with a snack bar, stocked with all your summertime favorites. Great root beer floats. Venture 10-15 minutes away by car to find San Onofre State Beach, Doheny State Beach, Poche, Salt Creek, Strands, and Baby Beach (perfect for paddleboarding).

Available for daily, weekly, or monthly stays, with a discounted rate. A maximum 4 people, with no more than 3 adults over the age of 18 at a time, infants under 1 do not count towards guest count ( so a family of 5 with an infant is ok). Children Age 2+ are extra guests, please account for all guests when making your reservation. Stays of over 28 days subject to term tenancy agreement. The refundable deposit for a longer term stay of 2 or more months is $2000, and payable by check.
Note: No running or jumping is permitted in the unit. No jumping on our furniture, dragging furniture across the floor, or heeled shoes. No unwashable markers, pens or art supplies that stain. No toys which may mark up our tables, or floors. We only want guests who like to tread lightly on their abode. Kids must be fully supervised at all times.
From the house, be within a short distance of 5 great breakfast places, 3 coffee shops, 10 different lunch and dinner restaurants, as well as 4 different bars, with live entertainment at times. About 15 minutes to downtown on foot, or 5 min by car, with the popular Sunday farmers market, monthly art market, shopping, surf shops, restaurants, and lots of nightlife. There are about 20 places to dine downtown, with everything from New American, to Asian, to Gastropubs, Wine Bars, Italian, Mexican, and Seafood. Don't forget dessert, there are three ice cream, and frozen yogurt shops to indulge yourself. It's about a 25 minute walk to the pier, where the Ocean Festival kicks off every summer with live music, surf contests, and tons of fun for the whole family. Down by the pier are numerous palapas to eat your picnic lunch under, as well as fire pits, to stay late under the stars. Our beach is open until midnight, and perfect for a peaceful stroll on the sand with the sound of the waves. There is plenty of paid parking available, as well as on the street. Nearby attractions include the Outlets at San Clemente, a skate park, aquatics center, hiking trails, mountain biking, bike trails (including several class 1 paths), the Surfing Heritage Museum, the Ocean Institute, Dana Point Harbor, the Catalina Express, Whale Watching, Bike Rentals, Paddleboard and Surfboard Rentals, Surf Lessons, Golfing at the Community Golf Course, Lawn Bowling, Tennis Courts, plus multiple nice playgrounds for the kids, such as Linda Lane, right by the beach. There are world renowned surfboard shapers such as Greg Noll, Dewey Weber, Stewart, and smaller shapers such as Donald Brink who call San Clemente home, both living, and working here. You’ll love this place because it's a perfect retreat, both beautiful, and modern, with soaring high ceilings. It has a loft-like European city like feel, yet is tucked away in a residental neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of high density rentals right by the beach. Location Location Location! It's located central to everything in town. It's close to all the surf breaks, and beaches, to the bike path, to downtown, to parks, blocks to great dining, coffee shops, public transit, freeways, shopping at the Outlets of San Clemente, many places of worship, high end surf shops, surfboard repair, and more. You are just a block to a 24 hour store for snacks, or a couple blocks to a large Ralphs grocery store. The people in San Clemente are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. People say hello as you pass on the street, on your morning walk. It's the last uncrowded beach town in Southern California, that still has small town feel.

Includes 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen, living area, 1.5 baths (with separate shower and tub), small paved patio area by the entrance with table/chairs for 4 people, which is not enclosed, and a parking spot on the far left side of the driveway. For long term stays the lefts side parking spot is 1st come 1st served, and not for vehicle storage. There is no large yard or place for running around outside. The paved area outside the front door (located to the side of house/semi-private) has a table, and four chairs, plus 2 foldable beach chairs for extra seating. The driveway is for parking only, and not for any other use. No sitting, smoking, sunning yourself, playing, or barbecue's in our driveway, or along the perimeter of the property. There is no BBQ, or BBQ area (currently), but we are in the process of building an enclosed private BBQ area for our guests (Spring 2017).

We won't be knocking on your door, or taking time from your vacation to chat, unless you need to talk to us. If anything happens we should be aware of regarding our house we need it reported to us immediately. We are available anytime by phone, or message. You can always call, but we ask if you could avoid calling before 9 or after 8pm unless it is a genuine concern while staying. Children must be attended at all times, and are not allowed to be unsupervised at any times while staying. This is not a party house, more a quiet retreat, for individuals, couples, and families.
This is a mother in law unit, with no common walls,to the main house. It is a private unit, 1 bedroom, 1.5 baths, with its own kitchen/dining area.
