Overlooking the Darebin Creek this newly restored old style house is a short walk to the Darebin Parklands. Plenty of small cafes as well as larger stores such as Woolworths and Coles are locared in the town center, only a 10 minute walk away. Ivanhoe, Darebin or Fairfield train stations, as well as bus stops, are all within walking distance and it is a short car ride to the Austin Hospital. Both families and couples will enjoy their stay in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

House is spacious and ideal to occupy 4. There are ample restaurants and grocery centers within a walkable distance. It's a drop in and get going proposition and enjoyed every bit of stay. Ian is very helpful and responsive.

Ian's house is in a great location within walking distance to shops / transport. The street it is in is very quiet - which was lovely. While the house on the outside looks a little tired, inside it is really nice with a new kitchen and bathroom / ensuite. Was kid friendly, although if you have little ones you would need to watch them outside due to the creek / parkland being close.

The house is being renovated. Nearly there but not secure without locks on windows. Also a very noisy bed!

Wonderful, quiet neighbourhood, and a comfortable house. A generous supply of linen and toiletries, along with some milk to get us started were much appreciated. The garden, which edges onto a creek is quite overgrown, and we spotted a snake, so be aware of treading too far into the long grass on the bank, but overall, we enjoyed our week here and found everything we needed nearby, with a couple of supermarkets, cafes, shops and restaurants a short walk away. Ian was very responsive and amenable.

Staying at Ian's house was wonderful. Ian was extremely helpful and made it really easy for us to checkin, with keycard and wifi details etc. Location is great - very quiet and right on the bank of creek with birds and lots of Australian nature. We would definitely stay again at Ian's
