I'm sorry you were unhappy with your stay.
I don't know where you found dust since I dust ALL surfaces, including baseboards, top of tv, tops of pictures, bedside table, fan blades, etc. between every guest. Additionally, I have a HEPA air filter which collects airborne dust. The only place you could possibly find dust is under the bed. I only dust there once a month.
I don't have a bathroom rug. There is a bathmat which is laundered with bleach between each guest stay to prevent potential transfer of athlete's foot or whatever.
Everything is pristine. I work hard to keep it that way, and the guest reviews reflect the high standards I maintain.
Yes, I could hear you as well and would have appreciated your closing the door to dampen the noise. (That's why the sign is there, to prompt you to do that.)
When the door is closed, I don't hear my guests any more than I do my neighbors. I'm sorry me cooking dinner, walking up my steps, or quietly watching TV until 10:00 pm was disruptive to you.
If you can move around the place naked, which you can, come and go through your own door, and have no worries that you'll encounter anyone else in the space at any time, it's fair to call that private. Even at the best hotel you'll be able to hear other people in the hall and in the next room.
If you're looking for more privacy than that, you'll need to go to a whole-house rental, which will cost you two or three times as much.
Good luck. Perhaps this type of venue is simply not well-suited to you.
