Mirjana war eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation war super, sowie ihre Tipps sehr hilfreich. Die Lage um in die Stadt und zum Strand zu kommen war ebenfalls top! Die vorhandene Garage zum Parken ist super. Das Apartment war mir persönlich leider nicht sauber genug, sowie es nach Rauch gerochen hat. Das heiße Wasser am Spülbecken hat nicht funktioniert und leider waren keine Spülmaschinentabs vorhanden.

It was hard to reach the lady managing the flat. We arrived in Split very late, so in the last minute, she changed us to another flat. In this new one, we had it all for ourselves (previous one was just a room), but it was a bit dirty (small cockroaches on the toilet, for example), no toilet paper, and very dark to get to the flat from the street. Even for one night stay, not worth it.

Mirjana cancelled our booking on the day of check in. I understand that emergencies happen, but she didn't really offer an explanation nor much help in trying to get some alternative accommodation. I'm sorry but it ruined the first day of our holiday.

Our stay was cancelled only a few hours before our arrival, on the day itself. We messaged her our ETA (3 hours before arrival), only to be told then that due to a medical emergency we were not able to stay at our accommodation anymore. No alternative solution was offered, but luckily we were able to quite quickly find other accommodation, but it was a lot less ideally located and much more expensive, having to book in the middle of high-season. We wanted to receive a full refund, but Mirjana told us that the booking would have to pass one day before that would be possible. We had our doubts about that, so we decided to call the helpdesk of AirBnB. They acted very professionally, explaining how we could get a refund. They decided to contact Mirjana directly, and after their contact Peter from the AirBnB helpdesk cancelled the accommodation and put in the request for a refund. Nothing but compliments for the way AirBnB handled our situation and we would not recommend staying with Mirjana. Accommodations look nice, but we feel that the situation was handled entirely wrong.

As described in the other comments, Mirjana also sent us an email 1 hour before the check-in. she told us that due to an emergency some other guests have to stay longer in our booked apartment and offered us another one. She also sent pictures of the new apartment or a refund. The pictures of the new apartment looked not as nice as the booked one, as it was a kind of old apartment with old furniture and the price should be the same. Thus we refused to take it, and wanted to get a refund. You have to be aware, that only the host should cancel the booking in this case because otherwise you will not get your money back. So I asked Mirjana to cancel it. She did not cancel it until midnight, so I informed Airbnb (deadline is 24 hours). After telling her that according to Airbnb guidelines, she had to cancel within 24 hours, she eventually cancelled our booking and I received my money back.

Le logement est très propre et grand avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. A dix minutes de marche du centre de Split.
