A family run guesthouse for more than 30 years, now offering room only accommodation in the centre of Ambleside. Close to Rothay Park, the start of numerous walks, shops, restaurants and public transport. Only 10-15 minutes walk to Lake Windermere.

Very nice and clean room and the location is very central. Everything was perfect and we definitely recommend this place.

Provided with a parking permit which was very helpful as it was a busy central location. Straight out into central Ambleside with loads of lovely cafes and shops close by. Has everything you need - compact but that's reflected in the price.

Carol's house is in ambleside is a very nice location ,many restaurant arround It .It help us save many time and Carol give us manyhelp.She also give us a hairdryer when we want to wash hair .But It's at the top stairs ,so if you have heavy luggage ,it maybe bring you some difficult.otherwise ,it's very nice to stay in this flat.

It's more like a guesthouse than Airbnb as there were limited facilities available. Ensuite was very small and challenging for my XX large size husband. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and tidy.

Room was as described in a great location and definitely good value for money. Included street parking permit which was extremely valuable !
