This 160 yr old house is a registered heritage property and was owned by the local ginger beer producer and so the name. Recently awarded the city's Heritage Restoration Award this old house has lots of character. Reclaimed and re loved antiques and linens, vintage finds and modern appliances provide a great mix for a relaxing retreat.
Room has queen size bed with an old Island farm door for a headboard. There is the original fireplace mantle and large bay window letting in lots of light and fresh sea air. This is a 160 yr old house with old house character, hardwood floors and hand crafted Island wardrobe.

A farm kitchen with our handmade harvest table, stainless steel appliances and cookware, a small deck and rear garden is completely fenced for privacy and is a safe place for pets. Coffee maker, kettle, coffee/teas and snacks available in kitchen.
