My husband and I are both British; however, we have called Manhattan home now for many years. My husband is an entrepreneur and a former private equity manager for one of the large investment banks and I have worked as an Editor for a major publisher and owned boutiques in London and Beruit. Come and stay with us; and, chances are you'll come to view Manhattan as we do -- we are both addicted to the city!!
Regarding our apartment location in NYC -- we've lived on 5th Avenue, Park Avenue, and Central Park West and this is the most convenient from the perspective of restaurants, stores, and transportation.
UPDATE: A little over a year ago John was visiting Vancouver Island, called me, and told me to fly out that he was thinking of buying a home in Greater Victoria overlooking an ocean bay -- I responded to go ahead. It has changed our lives for the better, we both love it here -- the #1 city for quality of life in North America!
