If you'd rather stay in, our newly renovated home features expansive entertainment space, an open kitchen, high ceilings, a fireplace, a pool table and a lush tropical garden.

Our home has been loved and lived in by our family for years. Originally a historic ranch, it was most recently upgraded two years ago to incorporate the old with the new. Let our home be yours for a few days.

The space is 2700 sq ft and features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and will sleep 10 comfortably.

Perfect location in Oceanside Ca! Very relaxing, homey residence. Even though the freeway was nearby, it was never a problem, even with all the windows open at night. All beds provided a perfect night sleep. The garden area was lovely and in full bloom. A large dining room table and chandelier under a covered patio was a perfect setting for dinner! Having a pool table and baby grand piano was fun entertainment.

We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities that were offered. The home was very spacious and the host was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

The home is located within walking distance to one beach (10 min walk) and a close drive to The Pier, Habor Cove beach, Walmart, and the Outlet Stores. National chained restaurants were in close driving distance (10-15 minutes). The house was cleaned and spacious for a family traveling as a group. We had nine people traveling, with two people to a bedroom and a teenager on a sofa bed.

Good location close to the freeway. Didn't have a problem with the noise of the train or cars. Loved the backyard and the spacious, well decorated home. The owners were fast at responding to any questions. They accommodated our early check in request as we got in town early with small children.

This house was perfect for our stay. The owner Manohar was great and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again and recommend his home very highly. Thank you again Manohar!

A nice large space. Good for large groups. The house was overall clean. Great backyard. Lots of sun. Check in was easy. And the host was easy to get a hold of. but the kitchen needs more attention in the cleaning department. All the dishes were dirty and counter tops were dirty as well. The location was not good in my opinion. Right beside a major highway and train tracks. I heard cars and trains all day and all night. Overall had a good stay but would not choose again due to location

Thank you for your comments. We tried out a new professional cleaning crew highly rated on Yelp before your check in and we will be discussing the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishes with them to get their input as well. We wish you had called us so we could have gotten them to go back at a time when you were not there to make sure the kitchen was cleaned to your satisfaction. As by our rental rules which you were sent a copy of (from the beginning) any issues at time of check in if noticed need to be brought to our attention so we can resolve them where possible. An email, text or voicemail would have ensured that cleanliness issues could have been addressed in a timely manner by the house cleaning team going back and attending to any such issue at the first opportunity and at your convenience. As far as beach access is concerned it is exactly an 8 minute walk to the beach and it is a short walk to the nature preserve, breweries and restaurants of South Oceanside. There are 2 mini supermarkets Red & White and Cream of the Crop, Allen’s Bike Rental Shop and the famous Surf Ride store down the road and within a 5 minute walk. Also gas stations, hair salons, antique shops, an Italian pizzeria etc on Main Street. The famed Beach Break Cafe is also a short walk. You can double check this on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps. For future guests who have not researched the location we think that we will leave a welcome brochure listing how to walk to these places. Unfortunately, all Southern California coastal areas and anything within a mile or two of the beach will either have freeway noise or train noise or both. You cannot get away from either one of those noises unless you choose to stay indoors with windows that are sealed and not opened. That is the price you pay for being near the coast. We have two beach homes in San Diego County which we exclusively list for vacation rentals and they have the train noise and traffic noise at all times day and night whenever traffic goes through. Blaring horns to warn pedestrians and traffic are mandatory by law. The closer to the beach the more train noise and the further away the more traffic noise. We do greatly appreciate your input with regards to the cleaning crew. Just FYI upon checkout the same cleaning crew found a wicker basket dumped in the trash can which was obviously done in error when you checked out. Another unavoidable situation is that if get warms and there is little or no humidity ants will seek water in any way they can that means house wise any location of water from an ants point of view. Fortunately you did not experience this. LOL! We are sorry that the vacation rental did not live up to your expectations given that we have had excellent reviews on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) but we do completely understand that this was not the type of vacation rental that was ideal for you. My family and I love this house and the attention is reflected in the details and in the garden. We lead a life and that involves us living in both Texas and California. Nadia works for Delta Airlines and I work for American Airlines.
We have 2 beautiful children ranging from ages 23 and 26. When we are not working we enjoy gardening and we love to travel. We have ourselves enjoyed staying at vacation rentals worldwide and enjoyed meeting new people and cultures.
You will find our home spacious and comfortable. Enjoy the BBQ on the side patio off the kitchen and play pool. Enjoy the lush magnificent garden and the fruit when in season. Everything is updated yet tasteful and the kitchen is magnificent and the laundry room is large.
