Our place is close to the MTSU Campus, downtown, restaurants, Walmart . We have just remodeled the house with new hard wood floors and a new kitchen. Plenty of space. This is the original professor neighborhood where faculty would walk to their offices on the MTSU campus - many still do. There are also lots of stores nearby, and it is rather close to the town square.
There are no hotels near the MTSU campus. So, this is a wonderful opportunity for anyone coming to visit, bringing kids to school, here for an event, and anything else that would need proximity to this wonderful school.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a full bath with shower. The other bathroom is on the hall and has a tub. The other bedrooms include one with a bunkbed with the single on top and a double on the bottom - sleeping for three depending upon how close you are. Another bedroom has a bunk bed with a pullout trundle so that room will sleep three people also. The fourth bedroom has a single bed with a pullout trundle. So it sleeps two people. That is the sleeping for 10 people. However there are also two couches which could accommodate an additional two people. You could squeeze 12 people in, however keep in mind that there are only two bathrooms.
Note! We recently got a crazy idea and took out the section of the wall above the kitchen counter and the living room. It's opened the place up a great deal, but we still have a few exposed boards, a base cabinet to replace and a little drywall finishing off to do. We also decided to put a new coat of polyurethane down on the hall floor. We're working over the coming weeks to get this project completed, just wanted to be fully open and let you see pictures of the current state. Even with the project going, it's actually a much nicer place to hang out. More open.
Update: we have done a little painting to clean up the opening, we did put two new base cabinets down but they have not been completely installed yet. The space around the kitchen is getting better, but we still have some work to do. Thanks for your patience and bearing with us. It's still a great place, just wanted to make sure you understood that we are still making some improvements to make the space even better for you next stay. See the photos.

We love to travel and stay in fun places. Travelling around the world, we have stayed on moored boats, in hostels, rented apartments, ferry boats, and have camped in too many different ways to mention. Often, we bring along one or more of our children who are also well travelled, adaptable, and easy going. My motto is "return the knife sharper than when you borrowed it". This means that we take extreme care of the homes of our hosts and expect the same of our guests. We clean up after ourselves and follow the house rules. Our listings on AirBnB are fun, comfortable places to stay. They are NOT super deluxe, high-end homes for the elite set. Our places are lived in, relaxing, and the types of places WE like to go. The focus is on the location, the outdoors, and less so on the actual place - we feel this way about both the places we stay and our listings.
