My apartment overlooks Lincoln Park - 250 acres with fountains, tennis and jogging. There's a Citibike hub nearby. Journal Square Path train is a short Uber/Bus ride. It's a sleepy area on a residential street, there are a few many cafes nearby and a real old-time neighborhood pub called New Park Tavern down the block that Yelpers love. The apt is clean and nicely cared for with a great ambiance and light. Great for travelers looking to just chill out.
Sunny 4th floor apartment overlooking beautiful Lincoln Park. Located in pre-war, elevator building with modern funishings. Citibike around the corner or 8 min Uber / bus to Journal Square Path. Laundry in basement.

Fun Day trip idea: Uber to Exchange Place, which is a fun area to walk around. Then take the water taxi from Liberty Landing to lower manhattan. Viewing the city from the water is really eye opening. The taxi only takes 5 min.
Then walk over to Shake Shack for lunch and check out the Oculus and outdoor Workd trade center memorial.

I'm a fairly easy going person and having been part-time living in NYC for several years. My wife and I started the restaurant Northeast Kingdom in Bushwick years ago and recently decided to close it and move on to other things.
I still love cooking and all things about food. We run a small farm stand now at our house/garden in the Hudson Valley. We have chickens and grow flowers and make pesto and pickles...and we have kids. So were are pretty busy most of the time. I like it that way.
I listen to music - Bon Iver to the specials and sometimes play guitar badly.
I love reading but don't do enough of it. Last book I read my have been Harry Potter because our son was reading it as well.
I'm clean and organized and it's reflected in our apartment.
We are not there much because we live upstate but it's very nicely furnished with everything you need to have a sweet landing pad, and it's right on the park!
