I highly recommend this place in Azcona, a small village on top of its own hill, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of golden wheat fields and mountains. The house is an historic building that was once used for pressing and barreling wine. It is very large, clean, beautiful, and has plenty of room for a family. The views out of the bedroom windows are stunning. I spent a lot of time on the patio that overlooked the village houses and valley below. From there, you can see the very distant mountains. There are birds flying and chirping. Every morning the local bakery has a van delivery to the main village square, and you can purchase milk, eggs, bread, croissants, cookies, etc. The village streets are historic and safe at night. The village is quiet. The house is renovated and equipped with modern features, including a large kitchen, large bathrooms, large bedrooms, comfortable beds. The village is minutes away from town, Estella, which has grocery stores, cafes, bars, and restaurants. From this house, we visited the mountains, caves, the northern coast and beaches, San Sebastian, France, and Pamplona. Ane is a wonderful host and she's very friendly, helpful, and communicative. You'll have a great time here.
