On a very quiet street and surrounded by centennial trees, stands this beautiful 19th century Arts and Crafts house. It’s located at the corner of Sheridan Rd, just a block away from Northwestern University, near the Foster "L" station (Purple Line Linden-Howard), and the Davis St Metra station (Kenosha-Chicago). Close to parks, bike path, beaches and commercial area, it's ideal for couples, families, solo travelers, students, professionals, and groups of up to 6 people.
We have remodeled our English basement into 3 spacious bedrooms, each with ample closet space and desk. The common area features a large kitchen with 2 full-size refrigerators, microwave, both gas and electric ovens, laundry room, toilet and separate shower / sink area.
With a garden entrance, it is independent from the rest of the house, which is resided by Northwestern professors John and Irena.
We call this our yellow submarine, and have named our bedrooms Lennon, McCartney and Ringo. All 3 are similar in size and comfort, with windows and good ventilation that keeps rooms cool in the summer and warm during the cold Chicago winters.
