First, you did not catch lice from the unit. Lice do not survive more than 24 hours without a host. The unit was vacant for 12 days (288 hours) before you checked in. These "super" lice lived 11 full days longer than normal?? Second, you have kids. Is it possible that they were the source coming in contact with lice in the many interactions they had with other kids during your stay?? Having 5 kids and having dealt with lice, they have been the source in our house from sharing things they should not at school. Third, in 5 years, I have NEVER had a complaint of lice in a unit. Specifically with this unit, no one before OR after you has caught lice. Does that not seem odd? The other issues issues have to do more with your lack of communication. I clearly state that I want to know about any issues so I can address them. I find it odd that you completely left out that when you told me about the towel issue and a burnt out light bulb, I was out there to address them. You seem to have left that part conveniently off. In regards to the others: First, as far as the TV goes, why not be accurate and honest. When you told me about the issue, I addressed it. When it stopped working again, YOU NEVER BOTHERED to tell me. It was not until the review was left that I learned of this. Second, you never told me about issues with the door which could have been addressed quickly. same with the toilet and other issues, a simple communication would have allowed these to be addressed in short order. Third, what I told you about the room was accurate. It was 480 Sf while the room you rented was 420 Sf. I never said it was substantially larger and I explained it quite clearly. Last, if there was a cleanliness issue because it was not done right, I would have sent the cleaner immediately back to address it. Again, you failed to communicate and give me the opportunity to correct it. I understand its a vacation and what people expect and I work hard to address things within my power as quickly as possible. However, that requires prompt communication to me of issues. If at that point I fail, yes much of this would be warranted. However, the accusation regarding lice is an outright false statement.
