We are close to Hwy 340 (Broadway) - the back route to Fruita, grocery stores, Colorado National Monument, downtown, Connected Lakes state park, walking, hiking, and biking trails, fishing, Tiara Rado & Redlands Mesa golf courses, Two Rivers Winery, and Two Rivers Convention Center to name just a few. You’ll enjoy our home because of the amazingly comfortable beds (we're complimented whenever we have guests), the views off the deck, the location, us, and the overall "chi" of our home.
This bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, bedside table, alarm clock, and closet. Private bathroom is across the hall and is currently under construction (new flooring, etc.). Shower, tub, toilet, and sink are functional. (Good water pressure from the shower!)
Zugang für Gäste
Our guests have access to the kitchen, reading room, entertainment area (bar with 60" Smart TV, dart board, chess board, and pool table), deck, and outdoor fireplace. There's also a grill that makes a mean ribeye. ;-)

We both work from home but are often gone as well - we are available for questions, directions, or suggestions. We are social and adventurous and can direct you to good hiking, biking, rafting, atving, dirtbiking, and jeeping options. We can also direct you to which wineries may be best suited to your palate. If you're here for river or mountain biking adventures, we will try to be available to assist with running shuttle for you for a nominal fee.
Weitere wichtige Infos
We have a Golden Retriever, an Irish Setter, and a tuxedo cat who are primarily outdoor creatures. (They have their own room.) They are quiet and obedient. We ask that you not bring your own animals on your visit with us for cat security reasons. (Her home is her safe place -she doesn't trust other dogs.) Our home is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We ask that you not bring small children with you because our home is not childproof.
- The golden rule - please be courteous and respectful.
- Quiet time after 10:00 PM
- Please clean up after yourself, handwash cookware, place dishes in the dishwasher, clean up any collateral damage (spills, etc.)
We are two well-traveled, happy campers who enjoy new experiences and understand the importance of good hospitality. We strive to make our guests' stay comfortable and welcoming. We've met wonderful people through travel and look forward to meeting many more with great stories to share!
We enjoy as much of the local flavor as possible to include: hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, Jeeping, river rafting, fishing, skiing, volleyball and football games at the park, high school football, GJ Rockies baseball, winery tours, and creating one-of-a-kind meals at home with fresh produce from our garden.
We have an older Golden Retriever and Irish Setter who have their own dedicated room in the house. They welcome guests upon arrival, but are not underfoot. (You won't find dog hair on the sofa.)
