Our fisherman's cottage used to be on the seafront until the Victorian's came along and built the terraces along the promenade, this means that our little courtyard garden is a sheltered suntrap and we're still just 50 seconds walk from the water's edge. With the old town wall at the end of our garden we're situated towards the end of a hidden cul-de-sac right in the centre of historic Aberystwyth. We're moments from the bars and shops of the vibrant town, yet quietly tucked out of the way!
We're conservationists working in forestry and with marine mammals and have a general passion for wildlife and the outdoors. We like to surf and between us dabble in various sports. We're both Scout leaders and Alex is a volunteer for the Aberystwyth Lifeboat.
We love to travel and meet new people and hope that you'll be relaxed in our home. We're quite busy folks so you can opt for plenty of privacy, but similarly we're sociable if you fancy some drinks, a chat over shared dinner or a sunset walk along the seaside promenade.
Kathy loves to cook and is happy to provide evening dinners upon request for an additional fee. We grow veg in our small garden where you're welcome to take advantage of the veranda.
