My light and large (1200 sqft) two bedroom apartment with a private roof terrace covers the entire top floor of a of prewar townhouse in the middle of lovely Boerum Hill Brooklyn, in close walking distance to all THE BEST Brooklyn neighborhoods and almost every subway NYC has to offer!
This is the perfect spot if you are traveling to visit and explore NYC; whether you are looking to see Manhattan sites or explore the local Brooklyn vibe, you can't find something more homey or convenient!

Guests have access to all parts of my home except locked and secured areas, the opposite side of the roof (that belongs to my neighbors), and covered and full sections of closets and drawers.

I will be away during your stay, but I have a service that looks after my home while I'm gone. Feel free to reach them via the Airbnb messaging portal. The number on my Airbnb profile goes to a message recording that transcribes to text and is sent to the service, who then responds via Airbnb, so no phone calls please. You will get a faster response by messaging via Airbnb.

IMPORTANT: This is my personal home. I travel a lot and am happy for others to enjoy it and the surrounding neighborhood. please treat the space - walls, floors, furniture, appliances and all - with care and respect. No pets, smoking, events, celebrations, or outside guests are allowed in the home during your stay. You are responsible for using the home safely and respectfully. The neighbors and your hosts have ZERO TOLERANCE for parties or events of any kind. Also, in case you have allergies or sensitivities, I have a cat who lives here when I am here but won't be here during your stay/while I'm away.
By requesting a reservation, you are agreeing to the house rules below.
1. No smoking, drugs, or illegal activity.
2. No pets.
3. Please remove your shoes when entering the home.
4. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00PM and 9:00AM, so as not to disturb neighbors.
5. No visitors without permission, and no additional or overnight guests. All guests must be included on the reservation, including children and infants.
6. No third-party reservations. The person who booked the reservation must be staying in the unit; you cannot book a reservation on behalf of someone else.
7. All communication must be conducted on AirBnB through the messaging portal.
8. Turn off lights and all appliances (especially air conditioners) when you are not in the apartment; and do not run air conditioners with the windows open at the same time.
9. If there is an air conditioner in a window, DO NOT, under any circumstances, open that window
10. Do not use the provided white sheets or towels to remove makeup. If sheets or towels are stained during your stay, you will be billed the replacement cost.
11. If you do not provide a check-in time within 72 hours of your date of arrival, please follow the alternate check-in instructions. These will be sent via Airbnb prior to your arrival. If you have confirmed your check-in time, you may follow the regular check-in instructions.
12. Check-out time is 12:00PM. Check-out instructions will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. If you know your exact departure time, please let us know.
13. IMPORTANT: Please do not open windows if you have children staying with you, they open very widely and there are NOT window guards in place!
14. My outdoor grill is currently out of service, please do not attempt to use. Thanks!!
