This house is perfect for Game Day Weekends. We live in the North Shore Triangle -- a safe, quiet neighborhood, located a mile from campus. Our home is across the street from Nokomis Park, a great location to play games and hang out. Our backyard is equipped with a charcoal grill and patio. We leave our fridge stocked with beer -- we'll get any brand our guests prefer (within reason!). The house is a California style Spanish bungalow, built in the 1920s.
Downstairs, the living room is decorated with a mixture of Mid Century furniture and Mexican folk art. Guests are free to use the record player in the corner, which is stocked with a number of albums ranging from Hank Williams to David Bowie. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests and has a drip coffee maker. The house is swimming in tropical plants, which adds an extra charm. The backyard has a patio with a bistro set and teak patio furniture and is a great place to spend a relaxing evening.
There are two bedrooms upstairs that share an adjoining bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen sized Casper mattress, and a wardrobe for guests to use. The second bedroom has a full sized Casper mattress. Both rooms share beautiful views, overlooking Nokomis Park across the street and the back yard garden. The bathroom has a shower and bath. In addition, there are two high quality inflatable queen sized mattresses for parties that need extra sleeping room.
Guests will have access to all of the home and can use the garage if they wish.
Also, we'd like to alert potential guests with severe dog allergies that we have a Toy Australian Shepherd, although the dog won't be in the house during your stay.
