Take a breather! Enjoy a cool quiet cottage just five minutes walk to the main street, supermarket, clubs, cafes and river. Explore Nambucca's scenic beauty, relax with a good book, work on a winter tan on the back verandah or simply disappear in a tropical garden. Choice!
My home is colourful, quirky and comfortable as well as being exceptionally convenient for guests and their pets. For travellers expecting a standard bland motel space, my hundred-year-old cottage is not for you!
The house can accommodate up to five people but I charge on a bedroom basis. For example, if a couple are sharing one room then the nightly price covers one (1) queen-sized bedroom. If they want to spread out and use two bedrooms then an additional fee of $30 per night applies.
This helps me keep the price down for singles and sharing-couples while charging a reasonable price for whole-house accommodation.
Zugang für Gäste
Guests will have the house to themselves but are limited to using only the bedroom(s) they booked.

Guests should note the bedrooms are not heated. Extra bedding is provided but is rarely required in Nambucca's subtropical climate.
Guests have to use their own wifi.
Bed and bath linen is not to be removed from the house. Beach towels are provided.
Pets are ok in the house if they are dry! and please NOT on the beds.
I usually meet guests on arrival and then vacate for the duration of their visit.
Lookout for a tall Aussie blonde with a big heart and winning smile! Look down and you'll see my inseparable mate, a foxy dog called Boyfriend, who also wears his heart on the outside. We lead a simple quiet life from a 100-year-old cottage in the heart of Nambucca Heads, a small coastal town six hours north of Sydney. Friends who have made the long trek northward have felt instantly at home and embraced the laid-back vibe, warmth and convenience of my new life. No wonder I retired early and escaped the chilly clutches of Canberra!
I'm a friendly outgoing person who likes nothing better than introducing people to the pleasures of Nambucca's beach and river activities, socialising at nearby clubs or day-tripping around the local region. Sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge is a way to 'pay forward' all the amazing experiences and generosity I have enjoyed while traipsing around the world.
My other loves include all sorts of food, meeting eclectic mixes of people, learning other languages, movies, country music and of course, Elvis!
Guests will particularly enjoy bathing under the stars on my secluded back verandah ... rustic-luxe!
