Cute cosy place situated close to both the rolling hills of the Ribble Valley and Blackburn town centre. Living opposite a leafy park, the ambiance of the neighbouring space is one of peace and calm.
Getting around is easy. Bus stop 2 mins away into town and train station a 2 min drive away to cities like Manchester/Blackpool each approx 40-50 min train ride away. Close to lovely Clitheroe, Preston and Blackburn with easy access to M6 and M65 motorways. Self-service breakfast is included.
This is a place of positive energy, eclectic style and calm & comfort.
You will be met with a lovely double attic bedroom and newly refurbished shower room solely for your use only. Guests are more than welcome to use the kitchen however please respect we are a vegetarian household although microwaved meat-based meals are more than allowed.
The guest room is light and spacious enough to fit in a futon mattress that we have available should you wish. We also have a small desk available that can easily fit in to the room should you wish to use one.
The room is at the top of the house so is very peaceful and private. We want you to feel safe and relaxed during your stay and to treat it as a mini home from home, even if it's just for one night.
Zugang für Gäste
Guests have a private attic room and bathroom all to themselves.
The kitchen is available for use; we offer some breakfast supplies. However, we are a vegetarian household, and ask that guests do not cook meat.
It should be noted that when eating you would use the kitchen table.
The living room is off limits and we also live-by a 'shoes-off' policy (as we have beige carpets!) so anywhere from the stairs upwards.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We try to be as accommodating as possible, and will be here to answer any questions. But this is a place where guests can do their own thing and just feel comfortable in our home.
Weitere wichtige Infos
Check-in is 5PM for weekdays but we are flexible and can be made earlier on the weekends.
Our postcode is actually BB1 9RZ, unlike what it shows on this site.
We live by a 'shoes-off' policy as we have beige carpets! This should be implemented from the stairs upwards. Many thanks.
I love people and socialising but also enjoy and respect solitude. An experienced traveller myself, I have both lived and worked abroad so I know how it important it is to be able to come back to a place and feel safe and relaxed. I am more than happy to offer a comfortable place to stay for people travelling or working away from home.
