I am truly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the townhouse and we will be addressing the issues that are within our control.
The neighbors on the property had apparently acquired pets that they sometimes let out but was not aware that you had encountered them. I have interacted with them myself and they are quite friendly but I do understand your concern and it has been addressed with their owner.
The electronic gate was down due to maintenance work being done in the area. Which includes the installation of an enhanced surveillance system, requiring an upgrade to the current infrastructure at the gate area. The trenches being digged at the time of your stay can attest to it. It is unfortunate that it was not operating at the time of your stay and I apologies.
The road is indeed unpaved and private to preserve its native, organic touch and never has been an issue. It is also wide and lighted. One (1) small pothole appeared recently because of the tropical seasonal rain but is totally avoidable due to the wideness of the road.
The “abandoned building” are additional units that are been constructed hence the unfinished appearance.
Unfortunately, yes there were power outages on two occasions both of which were island wide and a result of issues experienced by the Bahamas’ electricity provider. Please refer to local newspaper (The Tribune, Nassau Guardian). Though totally outside of our control we apologize for this inconvenience.
All of our mattresses are Semi-Orthopedic, not hard, not soft, to accommodate most guests’ needs. We are sorry that it was not a good fit for you.
Despite the fact that on two (2) separate occasions, via message and directly verbally to you, I asked if everything was fine, none of the issues were brought to my attention. None the less we refunded a significant amount for the inconveniences and in hope that it will make it better for you.
Again, We are sorry that this property was not a good fit for you.
