In Fall, you will get to see the leaves turning their magical autumn colors while you enjoy the crisp morning air. After a snowfall, you are engulfed in the tree tops enjoying a winter wonderland surrounding you. In Spring, you will enjoy the beautiful dogwood blooming all around you. On the 4th of July, you will have the best view of the fireworks over the lake from your patio deck. During Summer, you will enjoy a Pass to the Lake. During all seasons the patio deck lets' you enjoy the view of the morning sun glistening on the lake & at night the stars fill the sky.

This Awesome Chalet is perfect for the a weekend, week, month or during the holidays perfect for family getaways, time with friends, or simply just a romantic weekend in the mountains, this private mountain home is the place to be. The 4 story, 3500 square foot home, offers remarkable lake views from almost every room including the garage.
Set in a quiet and serene setting of pine trees, the home offers all of the privacy of a private home. It is completely furnished in a rustic lodge decor. There are televisions in all bedrooms, and plenty for both kids and adults to entertain themselves with, including a ping pong table, pool table ,Foosball table, and a big screen TV with XBOX, Wii and a VCR/DVD player.

The Living Room, Master Bedroom, and Bonus room, all have fireplaces making the home a very inviting place to cozy up and relax fireside. The home offers several outdoor decks from each room with breathtaking views of Lake Arrowhead.

For winter guests looking for outdoor recreation, Big Bear Ski Resorts are only a short 40 minute drive for snowboarding, skiing, sledding, and all snow enjoyment.

For the summertime occupants, there are hiking trails to hike, the beach and Lakefront for all water recreations, Golf, and Village shopping and are only a hop, skip, and jump, down the hill.

You can access any part of the home, backyard, decks, garage, etc. The only inaccessible part of the house is on the very bottom floor; and it is the locked door next to the laundry area, which behind that door is a build-up space. We don't want anyone to get hurt going in there so please do not go inside it. Thank you for your cooperation.

Occupancy tax: The state of CA requires us to collect Occupancy tax of 7% which is not part of the Air BnB automatic fees. This will be added as a "special offer" or can be included in the base price or sent to (EMAIL HIDDEN) via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Please include your name and reservation date. The tax goes straight to the county of San Bernardino, CA. When Air BnB is able to include this automatically, we will remove this section.

You may use anything that is in the home including shampoo, lotions, toiletries, spices, etc,
This is our family weekend home, not a party house. Please treat our house as you would your own.
Now to the other rules
1.b.) Smoking of anything is NOT allowed anywhere on the property.
2. ) Please No fireworks, firearms, No candles allowed inside or outside the house. you will be in an Extreme Fire Danger Zone. DO NOT put any paper, food or other combustible materials in the fireplaces. If you run out of firewood, please do not use wood from adjacent properties, you can purchase some from Jensen's market. The wood we have on property will not burn for another year because it was just recently cut down and still to wet.
3.) Check in time is 4:00 pm.
4.) Check out time is 11 am at the latest. If the house is not vacated by 11 am there will be a $50/hr charge as this disrupts our cleaning time for the next guest.
5.) People other than those in the guest party indicated on the rental agreement may not stay overnight in the property. No more than 10 people on the decks at one time.
This house is privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Renter shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the property owner, its management company, its respective affiliates and partners from and against all demands, suits, judgments, settlements, claims, damages to persons and/or property, fines, liens, losses and other liabilities, including attorneys' fees arising out of or in any way related to your stay in our property and its surrounding land including claims for loss or damage to any property or for death or injury to any individual.
6.) Parking is limited to 4 vehicles on the property. Street parking is available as well in back of property on Yellowstone Dr.
7.) Garbage must be stowed in the animal proof trash cans outside the house. The outdoor trash cans must have both handles locked, otherwise the raccoons/bears will easily open the trash and strew the trash all over the front of the house and down the street. It is the guest's responsibility to make sure they have correctly locked the trash cans. Any additional trash that does not fit in 2 of the outdoor animal proof trash cans must be taken with you upon checkout, otherwise our housekeeper will charge $10- per bag to refuse for you. In your checkout instruction are the list of refuse centers you can use if you have excessive trash. Please note, the mountain disposal will only pick up a maximum of 2 trashcans per week from us, this is why we can not accommodate excessive trash.
8.) Storms: No refunds will be given for inclement weather. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. It is highly recommended that you carry the proper chains for your vehicle when coming up anytime between October and May. Even when rain is predicted it can easily turn into snow up here. We are on a well maintained road, however during snowstorms it can take up to a day for the snow plow to come through the road.
9.) Security: Please note a security camera is located on the outside of the house for our guests and owner’s protection.
10.) The 2 lake passes must be left on the front coat rack when checking out. We will have to charge you a $150 replacement fee if they are not returned. (please note there are 2 passes on one keyring together).
11.) Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. No loud noises after 11 pm.
12.) Keep the house and furnishings in good order. Please be respectful of our house as if it were your home.
13.) The correct guest count must be indicated on your reservation. Providing a lower guest count than actual may result in additional fees or a loss to your deposit. WE ALLOW A MAXIMUM OF 10 people unless agreed upon with host and is noted in agreement.
14.) If our housekeeper's invoice is more than the normal amount due to excessive cleaning needed after your stay, we will have to charge the difference to you.
15.) Minimum renter's age must be 25 at time of booking.
and last but not least please be mindful that there are multi-levels to the home and the house is not child proofed.

Host needs to be specific about extra charges for extra guests before potential guests make reservation. Airbnb Description says the house accommodates 14 guests but there is extra charge and cleaning fee for more guests than 10. The house was beautiful and clean, but BBQ did not work which was also not mentioned in description, only after being asked. Beautiful view, comfortable beds! Classic mountain home decor and restaurant-quality kitchen which we used for breakfast and dinners.

I have not been up to inspect the house since this guest left. We will do a Quality Control inspection before the next guest. In any endeavor, communication is key. Adriana and Marc were fabulous hosts. They were very helpful and sorted out any issues we had in a timely manner. Our big family spent a terrific weekend at their house. Amazing views of Lake Arrowhead, beautiful house split in 4 levels, very clean and had many options for games and entertainment. Looking forward to spending time there again in the future.

Wow! This place was BREATHTAKING! The pictures honestly don't even do it justice! We had an amazing time! Everyone had a place to sleep and something to do. We mostly enjoyed the view over the water on the back patio the entire time! I HIGHLY recommend! Definitely would LOVE to come back here to stay again!

We booked this location because we had a large group (family) coming with us to lake arrowhead for the first time. The house accommodated 7 adults, 5 children and 1 infant just perfectly. We all had plenty of space. The kitchen was perfect and allowed for three of us girls to be cooking separate meals with no problem. The view was amazing. Only down part was snow was melted when we arrived and there was lots of rain and fog, but when that cleared... our view was AMAZING!! The house had foosball, pool and lots of space for everyone to enjoy themselves that we actually stayed in and enjoyed our vacation in the home. Adriana was so quick at responding to our questions and very good at communicating with us. The back road is a little narrow to get to the front of the home, but that's the only "flaw." Had an amazing time and we will be back soon!
