Facing Brunswick across the river, Bowdoin College, ocean beaches, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, restaurants. Love how it is situated, among beautiful gardens, on the river. And the two room post and beam cottage, contemporary and antique furniture. New kitchenette, new bath. Two wonderful bedrooms. Deck, barbecue, picnic table. In historic district.
Just a short walk across the river from historic Brunswick, our cottage is quiet, on the river, and in the garden. And the Cottage itself and the amenities are unmatched in the area. A post and beam cottage built only a few years ago. Large screen television, WiFi, outdoor barbecue, raspberries for the picking, picnic table under the peach tree. Extraordinary beds, desk, full bath. Enjoy the luxury.
Zugang für Gäste
We have very extensive gardens on our property, which overlook the river. They include 2 labyrinths, and a prayer wheel garden that honors all spiritual traditions. We welcome our guests to use these gardens. In addition, we are situated directly on the public walking path that winds through the woods alongside the river. We also have laundry facilities, an outdoor barbecue and a campfire site in the woods. All these are available to our guests.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We are usually here, just next door to the Cottage. We are almost always available to our guests, if you wish. That said, many of our guests come for privacy or because they have engagements here with friends. The amount of interaction is entirely up to you.

We, Ann and I are retired. Several years ago, we built the cottage and our house ourselves, with help from family. Ann, especially, is a dedicated gardener. Also a tai chi teacher and meditation leader. Chick is a semi retired Episcopal Deacon, and a founder of a shelter for the poor and homeless. We have lived or worked in Europe, New York, Boston, and Washington DC. We are physically active people. Before retirement we were each Registered Maine Guides, and sea kayak instructors We know this area and a much of Maine very well. We have several children, and grandchildren all nearby, and one in Europe. We travel in Europe occasionally. We speak French well enough to get by. Ann also speaks German very well? We love meeting and hosting all kinds of people, as we once ran a ski resort and later a bed and breakfast for kayakers. And we lived and traveled on our own boat for several years. Come see us.
