Dear Hans, first of all I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts. Please let me assure that every opinion is very important for me. With all the respect I'm definitely very sorry to hear that you made a conclusion looking to the photos of my apartment that every room have a view but please let me comment your message.
The photos must show all the areas of the apartment which guests able to use, right? Hence not only the bedroom but also the living room, kitchen, balcony and bathroom. I can only feel sorry you did not take a precise look on all the photos, there are 9 photos of the bedroom which clearly show the bedroom you are booking among photos of the living room and other facilities. I didn't even mention the detailed description of the listing
You said: "The rest of the apartment was taken by a couple..." and "There was no privacy for me...".
With all the respect it is wrong to claim the couple have taken all the rest of the apartment, they had the same rights to use it as you, not less and not more. Normally guests are happy to have a chance to communicate with other travelers, some of them even dinner together. Of course if you felt your rights were somehow restricted you could tell me or Gregory and we surely would interfere. As for the privacy, you have booked a room in the shared apartment for the cost of a room, normally guests who don't like to communicate and prefer total privacy book the whole apartment for the price much higher.
My record says that you have canceled reservation only 2 days after check-in day. I have been always in touch and available to answer any of your question shortly. I respect the Airbnb rules in all aspects, according to the rules which you have adopted by booking you did not have to get any return in this case which was confirmed by Airbnb service so it is a bit extravagant you are blaming the host for your personal mistakes.
As you can see from all the reviews from my guests for two years Airbnb experience nobody had those issues and never complained. The listing has the score of 4.7 out of 5 for "accuracy" which measures correspondence of the description and photos to the reality.
My best regards.
