My place is close to Illinois River. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.
The guest ranch is a old church camp from the early 1900s along the Illinois River. After remodel of the cabins, lodge and pavilion we are now ready to host weddings, family reunions, special events or private parties. Easy walking distance to the river with fishing and taking in the serenity that mother nature has around you. This set up is exactly what you want if you need to get away and relax from all the hustle of every day life. Don't be surprised to see a black beer, turkey, white tail deer, raccoon, Skunk, possum or a rare sighting of a mountain lion.

I like to spend my time relaxing at my lake house on Grand Lake and taking care of my horses and cows on the farm through the week. Not to mention my 63 pound female bull terrier. I decided a few years ago to learn more about photography so I took three workshops with Tony Stromberg on equine photography. Traveling to France, Portugal, Wyoming and recently to Iceland shooting the different breeds of horses. My brother, Brian Berry, owns the Town Branch Guest Ranch and The Branch Restaurant in Tahlequah. I have helped him with decorating the 7 cabins at the Ranch that use to be used for a church camp back in the 1940's. The cabins have been updated with little kitchenette and bathrooms instead of the outhouses used back during the church camp days. We still have more to bring back to life around the camp but that will take time. We are quietly located on the lower part of the Illinois river away from all the massive outfitters upstream. We will be offering our guest to float the lower part of the river with a kayak or canoe coming soon. We hope you choose us during your stay in Tahlequah at the Town Branch Guest Ranch
