This newly remodeled condo in the exclusive Naples Island community of Long Beach is just a couple blocks away from bars, restaurants, and beaches. The unit is ideal for a single guest or couple, but can sleep four. The upscale neighborhood is wonderful and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The safe, quiet location is close to the freeway and public transportation and just a short trip to DTLB and everything else beautiful Southern California has to offer. Come join the community!!

Der Wohnraum

This one bedroom, one bath unit, located on the second floor, is completely private and has lots of natural light. There are only 15 units in the entire building, so it is nice and quiet. The front door opens to a spacious living room with huge windows, comfortable furniture, and a flat screen TV. To the right is a brand new bathroom with a tub and shower and a large bedroom with a queen bed and lots of storage. To the left of the entrance is a completely renovated kitchen and dining area, with a breakfast bar and table for four. The kitchen has new appliances, which include an electric stove and hood, a full-sized refrigerator, and a microwave, with lots of dishes and everything you need for cooking (but why would you want to with all the great restaurants so close!). Just past the dining area, which also has a new ceiling fan, there is a balcony with a bistro set, perfect for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The view from the balcony shows the beautiful houses in this gorgeous neighborhood but to get a better look. There is a queen air mattress for two additional guests and lots of blankets and pillows to keep you cozy.

When staying here, you will have access to everything in the condo, as well as laundry facilities just next door. There is also a parking spot underneath the building for your exclusive use, as well as plenty of street parking. We can provide baby equipment, like a pack'n'play or stroller if necessary (even some toys! Just let us know). There are also a couple of bikes to help you get around! If you have any questions or if there is anything you need, just call Scott or Amy and we will do our best to accommodate you. We want you to feel at home!

Interaktion mit Gästen

The amount of interaction you would like is completely up to you. Our home is about 20 minutes to the north, but we love Long Beach and spend a lot of time there. We would have no problem showing you around but completely understand that this is your trip and you have an agenda.

The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and we ask that visitors help keep it that way. We have no problem if you have guests over but please be considerate of the neighbors. They are all wonderful people and love the area as much as we do.
The sun in the afternoon can be kind of strong, but there are shades for your convenience and the cross breeze is awesome. There are also fans to help you keep cool. There is also a heater for the couple weeks a year it gets cold enough.
The bikes are located in the garage and you are free to use them as much as you want. If you do decide to use them, please just make sure they are locked up when not in use.

Our stay at Scott's place turned out to be one our worst airbnb stay. Due to my work, I stay in airbnbs for a month a time regularly, this time for three months. Pros: Location is decent, walkable and bikeable. Parking spot in the garage is literally the best part of this place. Cons: Looks like it has been decorated with left overs from his house, nothing matches, couch is awful - everything sticks to it. You can tell the tv had been previously used for watching security cameras, as the images are burned into the screen. Dishes are chipped, again nothing matches, a lot what is provided is plastic plates. No central air conditioning, expected to just keep the windows open all the time to hope for a breeze. The portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom is extremely loud. And you are only allotted $100 a month for electricity, so don't be surprised if you are asked to come up with the difference. The "blackout curtains" in the bedroom are a joke. There is no housing handbook, so in the beginning you literally have to contact him about everything (i.e. where to take the trash and how to get to it). The roof deck is closed due to damage and doesn't look like it's going to be fixed anytime soon. For the cost of the condo monthly, I guess I just expected more. Especially to be in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Long Beach. I think one of the worst things is that the condo below started construction during the last month of our stay, with no warning from our host. This means that there was constant hammering and drilling - as well as loud music - throughout the day, which is when I sleep. I understand that I can't expect complete quiet during the day, but it would have been nice to know a time frame to expect all the noise that shook the wall the bed is up against.

This is a great place to stay in if you're visiting Long Beach. The location is walking distance to all the major supermarkets (including Trader Joe's) and all the fun restaurants/bars on second street. I enjoyed walking the canals at night! The place itself is very clean and has everything you need! The laundry room is conveniently located next door to the apartment and you don't hear a peep from the neighbors. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at this apartment for a week. It is impeccably clean. The furnishings are simple and appropriate. The bed was excellent. The bedding and towels were fresh, recent and abundant. Our four year old son slept on an inflatable mattress (supplied) in the common area. Thoughtfully, there was also a box of toys for our son to get lay with. We found much to be happy about with the unit, and no issues or complaints. Naples Island is a quiet, residential community with great walking opportunities along the canal and waterfront. There are four restaurants, a liquor store, and a Rite Aid within a five minute walk. Ralph's, Trader Joe's and Whole Paycheck are a short drive or a bit of a walk away. So are many other restaurants. This was a great experience that we will repeat whenever we visit family in Long Beach. Thanks for a great week!

Scott was fantastic. Patient with our unexpected late arrival and my mistake with the keys once we finally arrived. He was helpful when we couldn't figure out the garage door opener and generous with bikes, wagons, and kid activities. Super location- beautiful Naples + great freeway access! All in all a top notch stay!

What an absolutely perfect place to stay in fabulous Naples! Scott’s condo is in a beautiful, convenient location, with tons of nearby restaurants and shopping. It is an easy bike ride (or quick Uber) to downtown Long Beach and Belmont Shore is walking distance as well. Scott is such a nice host; extremely warm and friendly, and extremely helpful. We had clear, prompt communication from Day 1. The condo was absolutely ideal in every way -- very clean, bright, open and spacious, and exactly as pictured in the photos. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything one might need to prepare full meals in. It was also wonderful to have the garage available, and the washer/dryer was very convenient. Every detail of our stay was just perfect. Thank you Scott, we cannot wait to return! Very, very highly recommended!!

The perfect stop for my trip to LB!! Scott was very accommodating to our constantly changing schedule. The place is beautiful and is centrally located to the best parts of the city... walk the canals in Naples or hit all the amazing food/bars/shops on 2nd Street. A highly reccomended place to stay, will be back again.
